"Strangers" Kiss for the first time.

[ Person A ... it's me, Person B. I miss you. I still love you. I'm sorry we didn't work out, please move on. ]
I layed on my bed, replaying the voicemail they left on my phone. "It's been a year since we broke up, why do i still care?" I told myself as i continued to replay the voicemail over and over again.

"Whats this i hear?" Lyric walked in with an odd expression on their face. "It's been 1 year and 2 months, are you still not over them?" Lyric said snatching my phone away from me.

"Wtf? give it back." i said punching Lyric in the stomach.

"Not until you get over them" Lyric said putting my phone in their bag, "Btw, im coming home late" and then Lyric left, with my phone. WAIT WITH MY PHONE?!

"LYRIC GIVE ME BACK MY GOD DAMN PHONE!"  i called out chasing them, but Lyric was out the door before i could catch them.

I walked back into my room and plopped on my bed, staring at the ceiling. "Is this what my life has come to?" i ask myself. "no, no, it can't be like this, i can't live like this." i said and left the house.

I was walking down the busy streets downtown, minding my own business staring at the people rushing past by each other, bumping into each other, "why is everyone rushing?" i asked myself, wow do i ask myself alot of questions.

"Oh sorry!" this woman said to the man who bumped into her, "oh no! i should be the one thats sorry!" the man said and left.

We meet alot of strangers for a brief moment, i wonder if anyone here is my soulmate or something. "Naw" i told myself laughing.

"Uhm excuse me?" This man approached me "yes?" i said, "Hi my name's Carl, nice to meet you" he said, ok this is getting weird. "Uhm, hi, my name is Person A" i said shaking his hand. This couldn't get any weirder.

"so uhm, were doing this experiment thing, we call it Strangers Kiss for the first time I was wondering if you wanted to be apart of it?" he said, yep it got weirder.

I just stood there and stared at him, "strangers kiss for the first time?" i asked. "Yes, its an experiment were conducting, people often walk right by other people, mostly because theyre strangers, which if you think about it, its kind of weird, these people we pass by could be future celebrites, writers, doctors, or heck even your soulmate. Aint it weird how we probably passed by celebrites  back then and never noticed it cause we saw them as strangers?" He said. "It's simply a quick experiment, go in, meet this stranger, kiss the stranger, and see in the end if you continue to be strangers or if you end up keeping in touch" he added on.

"Uhm, sure i guess.." I don't really quite know why i said yes, but he looked really happy with this experiment, and it won't hurt anyone, plus it's just kissing 1 stranger, "what could possibly go wrong?" i asked myself and followed the guy.

Carl led me to this huge studio, "Who knows the person you meet today, might as well be your soulmate?" He said trying to break the silence. "Fine, ill keep an open mind, the person i will end up kissing today probaly is my soulmate, if fate is on my side" i said smiling.

"Ok, now we need to blindfold you" Carl said holding a blind fold. "Now i'm scared.." i said with a confused expression, "Should i run?" i thought to myself.

"No! NO DONT BE! hahaha, the blindfold is so, we can limit the awkwardness between the two strangers" Carl said handing me the blindfold.

I said nothing and put on the blindfold, "ill lead you to the room we're going to film it in" he said as he grabbed my arm and walked me into the room.

Moments later, i can hear others in the room talking and interviewing this other person "Whats your name?" a woman asked "Person B.." the other person in the room said. "Person B.." i thought, of all the strangers, why someone with the same name as the person who broke my heart recently. I cringe at the thought and tried not to react as much.

"Ah here is the other kisser, what's your name honey?" the woman asked. "Person A.." i said.

"Person A?" Person B whispered.

"Ok it's simple just kiss" I heard Carl say.

Moments later the woman finally told us we could take our blindfolds off.

As i took mine off i was shocked at the familiar face standing in front of me.. "Person B.." i said.

"Person A.." they said.

I look over at the other people in the room and they had this facial expression like we had just fallen in love. Little do they know we were in love, a year ago.

"Kiss! Kiss!" i heard the woman whisper.

"But we aren't s--" Person B was about to say but i stopped them, by pressing my lips on their lips.

I felt the world stop, as i kissed Person B, the familiar feeling stayed, i felt the same feeling i did a year ago when i kissed them. As i was kissing Person B I felt their mouth arch into a smile.

"WOOOOOOT WOOOOT!" i heard the others yell as we kissed.

I snapped out of it and broke the kiss first, i stood and stared at Person B as they put their fingers on their lips. Person B was blushing, fuck even i was blushing.

I looked around and everyone was smiling, everyone but Person B and I. God if they knew what we've been through they wouldn't have made us kiss.

I looked back at Person B who was staring me, i felt my heartache as i remembered the last words they said to me "..please move on." The same last words that they left on my voicemail.

As i was bombarded with the good and bad memories i had with Person B, i felt my eyes water and my heartache even more. I couldn't handle seeing them infront of me. I couldn't handle the fact that i had just kissed them after a year and im still not over them.

Before i could think i ran out the room and left the building, i stood outside of the building trying to breathe in fresh air. But i couldn't i was losing it, i cried and cried, i wanted to call Lyric to come pick me up, but i couldn't Lyric had my phone.

After awhile of moping and thinking about the kiss i got up and walked to the nearest bar.

"Fuck Love.. Fuck Them. Fuck everything" i said as i drank and drank my feelings away.
