"Oh my God. We did it!" I squeak, barely believing my own eyes when the show concludes, bursts of applause vibrating through the whole room.

When the last of the models exit the stage, eager fashion enthusiasts throw themselves from the chairs to the new range of clothing that's now on offer.

At the other side of the room, Guy and Michael are in deep conversation with several of the visitors, and by the ecstatic looks on their faces, I can tell the show has been a success.

"We really did it," I say again, looking to Danny who appears just as chuffed as I am.

"We sure did. Well, you did."

I swat his arm. "Will you stop saying that? You did just as much as I did. If not more."

Danny rolls his eyes, starting to gather up the material ready to be packed away. Once I'm over my shock, I'll get my stuff together too.

My insides oozing with relief and joy, I take my cables from my laptop and hurl them back into my bag. When I close the lid of the laptop, I think about how the success of the show will reflect against me, and my insides do a little dance.

Quite frankly, I'm that happy right now that I don't let the recent events between Grayson and I bother me. In fact, I haven't thought about him at all today.

Until now that is.

I know the situation with Tommy was truly awful, but I wish Grayson would at least give me a chance to explain. The fact that he hasn't reached out to me frustrates me; makes me think that he doesn't trust me one bit.

I sigh, but the sheer elation that flows through my veins after today allows me to not care about it all that much.

"You ready?" Danny asks, throwing his rucksack over his shoulder. "We've no need to stay any longer. Those fashion enthusiasts will be here all evening."

I nod, stuffing the last of my documents into my bag. "Yeah, coming."

Heading for the exit, I throw one last look about the room, biting my lip at how pleased everyone seems to be. Turning back, Danny is smiling too, and silently I consider how lucky am I to have had him here with me today.

"Mia, Danny, wait!"

We turn in unison, halted by the sound of Michael's strong voice calling out to us.

He's striding over, his hands in his pockets and a huge smile painting his face. My eyebrows raise; I'm not used to seeing Michael this happy. I thought 'serious' was the only look he held.

"Thank God I caught you both," he says, his hair not having moved one bit over the course of the day. "I just wanted to say how truly proud I am of what you did today. Even Guy said how well you had done. All of your work was incredible. So thank you."
