1 - Assuming

If you get to know Hab close enough, he must have said ' Don't assume' atleast once. For a long time, I thought, when he said don't assume was not to expect your side of story. Because it is usually followed up after a hot discussion, you'd assume he meant not to get caught up in your thought so you will miss his point.
But it took me awhile to realize that's not what he meant.
By don't assume, he meant to make your mind blank, avoid any expectation so you can open your mind as wide as possible, so you won't resist to the new information you are to receive. A clean state.

Has there ever been a time, Where something you never expect happened? Something noone prepared you for... Where the only choice there is to act how you feel.... The pleasure.
I think that's what Hab wanted us to feel, to make our mind as empty as possible and not be clouded with previous experience and thoughts so we can be present at the moment.
