Sorry to whoever requested the Jin injury fic, it turned into this and now I hate it.

"Do you guys need anything else?" Seokjin asked into the phone as he placed the throat lozenges and cough medicine on the counter. Taehyung had a sore throat and the whole dorm was void of any sort of throat treatment. Even Yoongi's medicine stash had run dry.

"Do they have any Ben & Jerry's?" Seokjin scoffed at Jungkook's request,
"In this weather? In your dreams." The whole city had an inch deep blanket of snow draped over it the past few days, and the roads were frozen over with the dangerous black ice. Namjoon went cycling to Han River yesterday and had reported back to them that the water was frozen over with a thick layer of ice.

Seokjin paid with his contactless card and left, saying into the phone,
"Okay, I'm gonna head back." Jungkook chimed in with a squeaky voice,
"Stay safe! It's slippery, hyung!"

"I will," Seokjin said and got into his car. He placed the phone down and put Jungkook on speaker. He was careful on the roads as he spoke to Jungkook who insisted on staying on the phone with him, despite the fact that he was about to see him in the dorms anyway.

"What flavour did you get?"

Seokjin smiled fondly at Jungkook's question and answered,
"Lemon."

"Ugh, hyuuung! I hate lemon ones!"

"They're even not for you, Jungkook,"

"Yeah but-"

"SHIT!"

Seokjin tried to avoid the car that was going way too fast on the slippery road. But he had entered the junction and the only way to stop the car that was going to hit him side-on was to stop the car. He couldn't do that because it was too icey and the car would slide forwards.

The car also tried to stop, but they were speeding so it didn't really matter. Seokjin's body was yanked to the side by his seatbelt, causing friction burns to appear on his shoulder since he was wearing a loose, low cut t-shirt. There was an ear-piercing screech of metal against metal. The car skidded to a stop halfway on the road, and half way on the walkway. His mind went fuzzy and his ears started ringing. His heart felt like it had stopped. He held his breath.

The driver in the other car reversed and left, not wanting to deal with the drama of hitting someone's car. A young woman who was walking on the street took their phone out and took a picture of the other car's license plate before it disappeared from view. Then they rushed over to Seokjin's car door and opened it, but then paused for a moment when they realised it was the Kim Seokjin who was gripping the steering wheel so tight his knuckles were paper-white. As was his face.

"Sir, Mr Kim, are you okay? Are you hurt?" She asked, but got no reply. Seokjin took a small, shaky breath, and looked at his hands on the steering wheel. The woman heard a small voice from the phone shout,
"Hyung! What's going on?!" She risked leaning over and grabbing the phone from the floor at Seokjin's feet, holding it to her ear,
"Hello?"

"Who's this? Is Jin-hyung okay? What happened?" Came Jungkook's reply. He spoke very fast and it was difficult to make out what he said, but she managed,
"I was on the street when I saw someone crash into Mr Kim's car, he's with me now." Jungkook asked if he could speak to Jin. She explained that he wasn't replying. She held the phone out to Seokjin and let Jungkook speak,
"Hyung? Hyungie, please respond, I'm so worried!"

Seokjin mumbled quietly, in a cracked, broken voice,
"I... I- ah... I'm-" The woman put the phone to her ear and said,
"He's- he can't speak v-very well," to which Jungkook said,
"I'm gonna come and see him. Thank you for staying with him. Can you call an ambulance too?" The woman agreed, leaving the phone on the dashboard and pulling out her own, ignoring the small crowd that had gathered on the street. She called an ambulance, keeping a close eye on Seokjin the whole time, who had barely moved or even breathed since she found him.

Jungkook tried to get a response from Seokjin as he drove over to the location.
"Hyung? It's Kookie, can you please tell me you're okay?" Jungkook begged through the phone. Seokjin couldn't feel anything, his body was numb and cold to the touch. His hands shook as he held the steering wheel tightly. He tried to say something, anything to let Jungkook know he was there, but all that could escape his lips was a whimper. He finally let go of the steering wheel.

Jungkook's car slowly came around the corner. He parked on the curb and ran out of the car. He ran to the woman, who managed to push aside her excitement to see two BTS members in one day. Jungkook helped Seokjin out of the car, unbuckling his seatbelt and lifting him from under his arms out of the car. Seokjin looked blankly at Jungkook and tried to be helpful, but the most his body let him do was hook his arms around Jungkook's neck.

Jungkook sat Seokjin back down on the floor. Luckily the car wasn't in the way of the road, so he placed Seokjin on the pavement with his back against the unharmed side of the car. Seokjin whimpered again as some feeling began to return to his body. Jungkook looked up at his face and asked,
"Are you in pain anywhere, hyung?"

Seokjin slowly lifted his left arm and placed it over the area of his collarbone that the seatbelt had burned. It was the only thing he could feel, but little did any of them know, Seokjin was also suffering from a broken ankle and severely bruised side. Jungkook looked at the reddened, scraped area on his skin and concluded that it wasn't too serious, and he breathed a sigh of relief. He got back to trying to get a response out of Seokjin.

"Hyung, there's an ambulance on the way. Can you tell me you can hear me?" Seokjin looked up and very softly replied,
"I... I c-can... I- hear y-you." Jungkook smiled and let out a sigh of relief. The woman approached Jungkook and said,
"Um, sir? I saw everything happen, and I think Mr Kim might have more injuries." Jungkook looked up at her in confusion,
"Wouldn't he have told me-"

"That's the thing, sir. Shock can act as a numbing effect."

Jungkook turned back to Seokjin, whose head had dropped and his eyes had closed. Jungkook panicked a little,
"Hyung! Please stay awake, hyung!" Seokjin whined softly as Jungkook put a hand on his shoulder, startled at the sudden ability to feel it.

The ambulance arrived soon after. Jungkook wrapped an arm around Seokjin's waist with the intention of helping him stand up, but Seokjin whined in pain and tried to weakly shove the maknae's arm away. Jungkook quickly pulled his hand away and asked,
"What is it? Hyung?"

Tears welled up in Seokjin's eyes and he whispered,
"H-hurts..." The ambulance stopped on the curb and a paramedic came out of the passenger seat. Jungkook frantically checked all around Seokjin's middle, asking,
"What is it? What hurts?" He lifted Seokjin's shirt and saw the dark bruises littering his porcelain skin.

The paramedic crouched down beside Seokjin and asked Jungkook,
"Does he have any injuries? How responsive is he?" Jungkook was taken aback as the paramedic instantly started checking Seokjin, the dilation of his pupils and his heart rate,
"Uh, he's... uh... he's got bruises on- on his side, and he's uh, he's in shock I think."

Seokjin suddenly gasped, as if he'd been holding his breath for a long time. He coughed a few times and leaned to the side, suddenly vomiting onto the frosty pavement. Jungkook exclaimed in shock and moved to rub Seokjin's back. Seokjin whined in pain. Jungkook asked,
"He'll have to go to hospital right?" The paramedic nodded as they concluded,
"His heart rate is high, and it's still increasing. He'll have to receive professional care,"

They tried to lift him so that he was standing, but as soon as he put weight on his ankle he yelled in pain and gripped harder onto Jungkook. Jungkook ended up carrying Seokjin to the ambulance, where he got in the front as they prepared to leave for the hospital. He rolled the window down and thanked the woman, asking if she could write to BigHit and provide the license plate. She agreed and Jungkook thanked her.

He wished he could have seen Seokjin on the way to the hospital. Because when they were on the way, he kept hearing things from the comms devices,
"Patient's heart rate increasing,"

"Is he gonna be okay?"

"Yes. He'll be fine."

I really need to work on my endings, ugh. I promise the next one will be better.
