A/N: Hello everyone! I want to welcome you to my first story! I read Killing Stalking not too long ago, and I absolutely fell in love with Bum, so I decided to write a fanfiction about him. I will try to update as often as my schedule allows me, but enough about me, I hope you enjoy the story!

The sound of your boots clicking against the vinyl floor resonated throughout one of the many halls of your university. You peered down at your watch, curious to see the time. 12:45 p.m. – fifteen minutes early to your intro psychology class. Glancing up from your watch, you kept moving your feet until noticing familiar numbers associated with your lecture hall.
The door was cracked open, and you took the opportunity to peer in undetected in case a lecture for a different class was still in session. To your relief, the room was vacant with the exception of a few stray students who lingered packing their materials.
You released a sigh and slipped through the door heading for your seat in the back row. Before claiming your seat, you swiftly unzipped your book bag and took out your laptop, notebook, and a pen for note-taking. You proceeded to make yourself comfortable, humming lowly to the music that emitted from your earbuds.
As time slowly progressed, more and more students congregated into the classroom taking their respective seats. You glanced at the time once your laptop booted up – only five more minutes until class commences. Your eyes moved from the time on your computer to two figures making their way toward the front of the room. You recognized your professor and while only experiencing her teaching for a handful of weeks, you felt comfortable with atmosphere she established during the beginning of the semester. Professor, or Doctor Green was very knowledgeable, passionate about subject material, and most importantly, very charismatic toward her students.
Shaking your grateful thoughts from your head, your eyes focused on the smaller figure next to Professor Green. You had never seen the frail boy before. There's no way this kid is old enough to be attending college, you thought to yourself. While you studied the boy, he kept his gaze pointed toward the ground while he fiddled with the end of his shirt.
You became lost in your own thoughts once more and glanced at the time. The lecture would begin any moment, so in preparation you removed your ear buds and set them aside. Opening your notebook, you flipped through the pages until a blank page appeared and clicked your pen, ready for today's lesson.
"Good afternoon class! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!" Professor Green greeted cheerfully.
The class released a wide spectrum of greetings. Some mirroring her enthusiasm some...not so much.
The instructor let out an amused laugh. "Man! Our class is scheduled in the afternoon, surely you guys can't be tired!" You rested your cheek on your hand while listening to the professor ramble and playfully scold her students.
"Enough of that! I am sure you all have taken notice to this young gentleman next to me, yes? His name is Yoon Bum and he is a foreign exchange student, accompanying us from South Korea." Professor Green warmly smiled down in the boy's direction.
"H-Hello..." Yoon Bum mumbled bashfully.
"Huh? Speak up, we can't hear you!" A fellow male student mocked, situated on the other side of lecture hall. Students surrounding him snickered, attempting to contain their laughter. Bum cheeks exploded with color and gazed downward once more. His brows furrowed as he fidgeted. He thought maybe, just maybe, a new setting would treat him better than back in his home country. However, after only being present in the lecture hall for less than five minutes, Bum was already treated like an outcast.
You rolled your eyes at the student's comment, and glanced back at the boy who was currently fidgeting uncontrollably.
"I expect all of you to treat Yoon Bum with respect, especially you, Mr. McCrea," Professor Green pointed her intense gaze toward the student who quickly muttered a 'yes Ma'am'.
The female instructor clapped her hands together excitedly. "Alright! Now, we can find you a seat as I'm sure you wouldn't be thrilled to hang around boring old me," Dr. Green calmly stated as her eyes scanned the classroom. "Ah! Ms. (L/N), would you be so kind to allow Yoon Bum to sit next to you and help him with any questions he may have?"
Bum's head whipped up to see who the Professor was speaking to. His eyes took in your form, as well as your welcoming, soft smile.
Wow, I get to sit next to a pretty girl? Bum thought, and pink dusted his cheeks the longer he stared.
What felt like years for your response you finally spoke up.
"Absolutely, I don't mind at all," you said, your eyes locking with Bum's offering him a kind smile.
His heart swelled upon seeing your smile, as well as your tender affirmation.
"Great!" Dr. Green began, "Bum, feel free to take your seat, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask Ms. (L/N) or myself."
Bum nodded and slowly made his way up to where you were comfortably seated. His pace quickened as he felt the disgusted stares of other classmates burning into the back of his skull. Once reaching his seat, he flinched when a hand came into view. His eyes slowly traced the limb, seeing it was connected to your body.
"I'm (Y/N), it's nice to meet you," You said softly, smiling up at him.
