Aro's Mate

Chapter Nine

We sit on the bench for a few minutes in silence. Aro has his arm around me and I'm leaning into him as the car pulls up. Demetri steps out and opens the door for us and Aro helps me inside, I sit in the middle seat so I can sit right next to Aro. Once we are buckled in I lean against him again, he rests his hand on my thigh which gives me chills. I put my hand on top of his.

"Are you okay now Amelia?" Aro asks softly. I think for a minute, I was just assaulted and then saw my fiancé kill the man who assaulted me. Does he think I'm okay? I stiffen and sit up from leaning on him.

"I don't really know, a lot happened all at once and I am still trying to process it" I look out the window and then think again. I look back at him, his eyes remorseful.

"But in the end, I am glad you were there for me, I've never had anyone save me from anything before" I smile a weak smile.

"What do you mean? Have you needed saving before?" he looks at me concerned and I sigh a big sigh.

"I don't really want to talk about it, Aro." I look down and he squeezes my hand.

"Sorry to overstep, I completely understand" he leans over and kisses my head.

I look up at him and smile, I hold eye contact with him and bite my lip slightly. He gets the message and leans in to kiss me, I immediately kiss back passionately, all my worries from the past few minutes going away. His hand slightly rubs my thigh up and down and I lean into him more. He then suddenly pulls away.

"Let's not make Demetri uncomfortable" he chuckles and so does Demetri.

I nod and sit back forward, leaning onto him once again to enjoy the rest of the car ride comfortably. The rest of the ride is silent as I'm thinking. All of my thoughts truly disappear when I kiss him, the power our love has truly goes beyond any love I have ever felt. He wasn't lying when he said true mates for vampires exist. He is my true mate, we are meant to be together, I really am going to spend eternity with this man. Although some of these thoughts scare me, my fears disappear when I look at Aro.

"We're here" Demetri says as he passes through the castle gates and into the garage. He gets out and opens the door for Aro and I to get out. He bows to Aro and we walk inside hand in hand.

"It's late, would you like to go to bed?" Aro asks as we walk towards the elevator.

"Only if you're joining me." I squeeze his hand and I see a smile come across his face.

"I would be happy to." I get butterflies when he squeezes my hand back.

We get to the room and I head straight for the wardrobe to grab some pajamas, I walk to the bathroom to change and do my nighttime routine. I choose a pink silk tank top with matching pink silk shorts. I change and then wash my face and brush my teeth. I walk back out to see Aro changed and laying on the bed under the sheets. I immediately blush at the sight of him in the bed. I think he notices because he smiles a bit.

"I forget that humans have a morning and night routine sometimes" he says and we both laugh. Him making a joke is making me feel better. I am feeling a bit nervous to lay in the bed with him, but I don't know why.

I slowly climb into the bed and under the covers, he opens his arms for me to come lay with him. I get close to him and turn around so my back is against him and he is the big spoon. He puts his arms around me and I relax, all nerves disappearing when I feel his body comforting me.

One of his hands is comfortably resting on my stomach. I decided to continue where we left off in the car. I reach and grab his hand, I slowly move it up my body so it is resting on my breast. I feel him stiffen against me and then relax. He then cups my breast slightly, accepting my advances. He then kisses the back of my shoulder, he goes higher with the next kiss, at the bottom of my neck. He moves his kisses up and up until his mouth is by my ear. All the while he slowly starts massaging my breast.

"Is this okay, my love?" he whispers softly in my ear. His politeness yet forwardness gives me chills, I want to do more.

"Of course it is." I reply back softly. I then turn my head back and end up just laying flat on my back, so he is hovering over me with one hand still on my breast. I reach up to put my hand behind his head, he leans down slowly and presses his lips to mine. I immediately kiss him back, almost moaning at having his lips to mine again. I open my mouth slightly and he slips his tongue in, it explores my mouth and a moan suddenly escapes my mouth when I feel him squeeze my nipple through my thin shirt. I feel him smile against my lips when he hears me moan. I suddenly get scared, the last time I felt his smile against mine he threw me on the ground. I pull away.

"Aro, are you okay? Like are you going to throw me on the ground again?" I ask nervously and he looks at me sadly, remembering what he had done to me.

"I actually have been working on controlling my strength for you, just nothing below the waist, I'm afraid I would hurt you." I just smile and kiss him again.

"You really did that for me?" I blush and he smiles.

"Of course I did." He leans down and kisses me again. He then moves his hand down and slips it up underneath my shirt, he pauses to make sure its okay and then continues. I arch my back when his cold hand grabs my bare breast, my nipple immediately getting hard. We continue to make out as he fondles my nipple. I decide I want my shirt off so instead of waiting for him to do it I reach down and lift my tank top over my head so I lay there half naked as Aro hovers above me. He moves his hand away and stares in awe at my breasts.

"You are so beautiful, Amelia." Before I can say anything he leans down to kiss me again. Each of his hands grabs one of my breasts and massages both as we intensely kiss. I moan into his mouth and arch my back. He then goes down and begins to kiss my neck, he kisses all over my neck, then down to my collarbones and then my chest. He puts his mouth around my left nipple as his hand massages the other. I moan at the feeling of his lips on my body and arch my back into him. He begins sucking it, giving me intense pleasure I've never felt before. I feel his long hair moving against my chest and it tickles a bit, giving me goosebumps. I run my hands through his hair as he continues sucking and licking my breast. He then kisses in between my breasts and goes to the right one, doing just as he did to the left. I pull on his hair slightly and continue to moan. He keeps going for a few more minutes and then he kisses me up my chest back to my neck and then meets my lips again before pulling away.

"I think that is enough for tonight, I need to excuse myself for a minute." He gets up and walks to the bathroom and my face turns bright red. I know exactly what he's doing and I laugh a bit and then put my shirt back on. He reappears a few minutes later.

"I could have helped you with that." I say as he gets back into the bed with me.

"No offense Amelia, but I highly doubt that." My eyes widen and I blush.

"I guess I'll take your word for it." I turn on my side and Aro returns to his position from before as the big spoon.

"Goodnight, my love." He kisses me on the head and I slowly drift off in his arms.
