First date

You wouldn't call it a date, really. Your just inviting Gavin over, you've done it loads of times. Your not going anywhere, just eating at home and playing video games.

You still feel nervous, it's the first time you've hung out since you guys started "dating". You don't do much together. You asked for it to be secret from the guys so no contact at work. This is the first time you'll really be able to show anything.

You're looking for coupons to your neighborhood pizza place when you hear a knock at the door. You both agreed 6. And it's 6:57. A bit eager, but doesn't want to appear eager. You walk to the door and throw it open.

Gavin is standing there smiling like a goon. "Michael!" He throws his arms around you.

"Whoa! Excited are we?"

Gavin nods vigorously and enters your house without permission. Which is fine, he doesn't need it. You close the door behind him and he flops down on your couch. "What's for dinner?"

"Pizza sound good?"

"Sounds top!"

At first glance he looks ecstatic but you can see the way he fidgets in his seat, he's nervous. You wonder if your his first; first kiss, first intimate touch.

You sit down and look him in the eye. "Gavin have you ever. Dated anyone?"

"No." His voice cracks a bit.

You nod and smile, "you look nervous, don't worry. We'll do what you want."

"Video games then?" He smiles slowly.

You nod. "Whatever you want to play. I'll order the pizza."

It's roughly 9 o'clock and your still playing video games with him. Pizza boxes lay strewn on the coffee table.

Hes slowly moved closer to you, your thighs are pushed together.

Your currently having a round of Left 4 Dead 2 with Gavin when he pauses the game. You look at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Michael," he shifts nervously. "I've never kissed anyone. But I'd like to kiss you, if I could." He stutters through it and you smile.

"Of course." You suspect you'll be the one doing the work for your first few kisses so you lean in and press yours to his. It's no fairy-tail bullshit but you can defiantly feel something special. Even if he's not good at kissing, but that's just because he never has before.

He slowly gets the idea though and fits his lips to shape yours, that's when you feel his arms snake around your neck and he sighs lightly through his nose. You can't help but pull away and smile.

"What?" He asks when you do.

"What was that?" You ask it with a smile on your face.

"What?" He looks a little concerned.

"You sighed."

"I guess I'm just happy." He pauses then smiles.

You smile and kiss him again. This time he reacts to you immediately. This kiss is a bit better and he moves his hands into your hair, playing with it and tugging. You fit your mouth so it's closer to his and push his lips apart with your tongue.

He doesn't push you away so you take that as an invitation to keep going. You lightly prod around his mouth and he lets out a little noise. You find your pushing him backwards, pinning him below you. His hands push at your middle and you pull away.

"You okay?" You cup his cheeks in you hands.

"Yah, I'm fine." He's panting below you and you can feel your pants straining a bit, but when you move your hands to his pants he grips your wrist.

"Not..yet." He looks a bit scared even, like you might keep going without consent. You're a bit hurt that he thinks that but you move your hands back to his cheeks.

"Whatever you feel comfortable with." You and him continue kissing on the couch but it never escalates from there. At some point he pulls away and tells you he should head home.

You are reluctant to let him go but he insists you let him. Least rumors arise form your encounter with him. Once he's gone you end up back on the couch, smiling wide to yourself.

But the smile leaves when you glance at the mark. One black mark surrounded by scars. You've been through all this before. You hope Gavin makes it home okay.

Scenarios run through your head. You have an uneasy feeling that you won't be sleeping tonight.

You walk into work with dark bags under your eyes, you yawn and your still shaking from last night. Your eyes search frantically for him.

"Michael?" You spin around and he's smiling at you. "You alright?"

You grab him and hug him to your body, "I spend all night thinking about you." You whisper.

He hugs you close. "Cute." He chuckles and you pull away.

"No, not like that." What you say leaves a heavy silence and his eyebrows raise.

"Oh Michael, I'm sorry." He grips your shoulder. "I'm okay."

You smile slightly and he returns it.
