Horntail Task~

Kitai P.O.V

Malfoy grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me close to him, I tried holding back but he was to strong for me "Kitai don't fight it just come here" Malfoy said and looking at me with a serious face. I let him pull me and he whispered in my ear "I know you were talking to your dad but he isn't what you're thinking" I looked at him and said "What the hell do you mean by that??" He looked at me before making his way back to Hogwarts and me sitting their dumbfounded before I came back to my senses and started to run after him, I got into the castle but right on impact I fell into someone and knocked them over with me on top "Omg I'm so sorry" I started to say till a soft whisper said "Its okay you tend to do this dreamer" I looked up at the person I fell onto to see Harry's grinning face. I smiled before getting up and pulling Harry up with me "I saw you out there with Malfoy? everything okay?" Harry said with a concerned face and I nodded my head "Yeah everything is okay" I said even tho the words that Malfoy said kept replaying in my head. I tried brushing the thought away "You coming to the common room Potterhead?" I said as I held my hand out for him to take which he smiled at me and took my hand "Of course" He said as we made our way back to the common room. We made it there and still had our hands entwined together when we walked in as everyone started to whisper while Harry and I started to walk to our dorm rooms "Goodnight Dreamer" Harry said as he let go of my hand and kissed my cheek before making his way to his door and myself opening my door. I opened my door and walked over to my bed grabbing some pajama's and changing into them before laying down in bed and falling asleep.

*Skip a few weeks to the first task*

I woke up and got out of my bed grabbing my outfit for the match today and heading over to the bathroom to take a shower and do my daily routine. I finished up and walked out of the bathroom putting away my pajama's and grabbing my wand before leaving the dorm and heading to the great hall. Everyone looked at me as I entered which I put my head down and headed straight to the Gryffindor table and sitting down wait for Harry to arrive. I looked over to my right to see if Harry was coming but instead it was Fred and George making a bee line over to me "Hey love you ready for the first task?" Fred said as He stood next to George "No I'm not but I think I can handle it." silently thanking Blaise for training Harry and I "Well we love you and be careful" They both said while giving me hugs "I'll be careful and I love you too" I said to them while we broke the hug and they started to walk to the other end of the table and sitting down. I waited till I saw Harry coming in and walking straight over to me wearing his champion grab that matched mine "Are you ready for today?" Harry said as the food appeared and he grabbed some food while I grabbed some toast "Not really but we got this right?" I said to him as I slowly ate my toast "Right" he said as he rubbed circles on my back. The rest of the students piled in shortly after Harry did and Dumbledore was getting to announce for us to leave "Today is the first task! All of our champions must leave now to pick your dragons" Dumbledore boomed as Harry and I stood up from our table and following the rest of the champions out to the quidditch field. We walked into the champions tent with the rest of them and waited till Dumbledore was also their before picking out our dragons, Dumbledore arrived and it was time to pick our dragons "Since you both are a surprise you will both be facing the same dragon" Dumbledore said to Harry and I which we both nodded before Cedric went first pulling out the  Swedish Short-Snout and then Fleur went next pulling out the Common Welsh Green and then went Viktor who pulled out the Chinese Fireball which left Harry and I with the feisty one of all Hungarian Horntail. "Please sit and chat as we start to get everything ready for the games" Dumbledore said as he walked out of the tent. Harry and I both sat in the back trying to come up with a plan while the rest of the champions amped themselves up, "Harry! Kitai! are you in there?" We heard a voice from outside of the tent to which Harry and I both stood up and walked over to the voice "Yeah? Why?" Harry said and before we knew it Hermione and Ron had jumped into the tent. Hermione hugged Harry while Ron hugged me before a flash went off and their stood Rita Skeeter taking pictures and writing about her next story, I ignored her as I stepped back from Ron and Hermione pulling my arms around my chest "What do you guys want?" I said with anger dripping in my voice "To wish you good luck" They both said timidly to which I responded with a laugh before walking away from both of them.

Harry P.O.V

"When is she ever going to be okay with me?" Ron said looking down as I patted his shoulder "I'm sorry mate but you hurt her bad. Your lucky I am even talking to you" I said as I moved my hand away from his shoulder to which he looked at me and whispered to me "Please tell her I am sorry" he said before walking out of the tent with Hermione. I walked over to Kitai "Ron says he is sorry" I said to her while rubbing my hand on my shoulder she looked up at me and smirked "Yeah sure" she said before sitting down. It felt like forever watching all the rest of the champions leaving to face their dragons before we heard our names be called "Harry Potter and Kitai Black" we walked out of the tent to see huge banners and cheering for us. I was shocked and it seemed Kitai was also as she looked at me with her mouth agaped before she turned back around and we both spotted the egg, Kitai started to run towards the egg but before she could get there she saw a huge dragon coming towards her breathing long lengths of fire. "Over here bonehead!" I yelled as I threw rocks towards the dragon to get his attention which seemed to work as the dragon turned towards me and started running over me crushing rocks and hitting Kitai with it's tail which made her fly over and hit a big boulder of rock. I started running away from the dragon which didn't seem to work well so I quickly pulled my wand out and pointed towards the sky "ACCIO FIREBOLT!" I yelled which seemed to work as my broom came down and I quickly hopped onto it and taking off trying to lead the dragon away from the egg. I left the area with the dragon following me closely behind "Kitai Black has retrieved the egg!" I heard from the area as I was lacing through the castle with the dragon before flying back down to the area and jumping off my broom running into the champions tent with Kitai. "Holy shit! Potter we did it!" Kitai yelled as she grabbed me pulling me into a hug "Yes the fuck we did" I said as I laced my arms around her and hugged her back.
