Kitai P.O.V

We got back to the common room and sat there with egg in Harry and I hands "Who wants us to open it??" everyone chanted which was an answer for us to of course open it to which Harry and I both opened the egg to her high pitch screams coming out of it. I quickly closed up the egg "What the bloody hell was that?" I heard from the far corner of the room which made Harry and I look over to see Ron standing there. I shook my head and brought the egg up to my room and changing into different clothes before leaving the common room and going to the great hall. I walked in and sat down next to Harry "What the hell is the screaming for?" I asked Harry as Hermione sat across from us with Ron "It's gotta be something" Hermione said in response to which I ignored her "Kitai! Harry! may I have a word with you?" I heard from behind us and turned around to see Cedric there "Uhm sure" I said as I stood up and Harry following Cedirc and I out of the great hall. We walked over to a corner away from the great hall "The egg only works underwater" Cedric said while looking at the both of us "What do you mean it works underwater?" I said looking at Cedric confused " I don't have much time to explain as I have somewhere to be but use the prefect bathroom" Cedric said in a hurry as I could see Cho Chang waiting for him from the corner of my eye. Honestly that chick is mental I thought as Cedric walked away from Harry and I which Harry was staring at Cho "Stop drooling for Cho. You aren't gonna go anywhere with her" I said to Harry as we walked back over to the Gryffindor table and sat back down in front of Hermione and Ron. I turned my attention to Ron to see he didn't grab anything to eat from the table "Redhead! aren't you gonna eat?" I said to Ron "I'm not-t wait you talked to me" Ron said looking at me surprised, I giggled at his expression while grabbing a piece of toast and munching on it "yeah" I said simply before looking at the trio "We are gonna need your help to figure out this egg" Harry whispered to us and Hermione and Ron's face lit up before we walked out of the great hall and towards the common room.

"I just don't understand why it won't stop screaming" Hermione said frustrated as she dropped a book onto the table with a large thud which woke up Ron and Harry "Hermione can't you drop books softer" Ron groaned out "No!" Hermione said as she opened the book looking through the pages and still not seeming to find anything "Why don't we just try the trick that Cedric said Harry?" I asked him as he raised his head rubbing his eyes behind his glasses "Maybe it will work. I'll go upstairs and get changed and meet you back down here okay?" Harry said as he got up and started to walk upstairs "Got it" I said running upstairs also and going into my room to change into my bathing suit and grabbing the egg before walking back downstairs to wait for Harry.

Harry P.O.V

I walked back downstairs to be met with Kitai wearing the hottest swimsuit ever "You look great Dreamer" I said while Ron looked up and his mouth dropped Kitai giggled and walked out of the portrait with the egg in her hand "Harry where is the prefects bathroom?" Kitai said. I showed her to it and we walked in it looking at the huge bathtub like thing in front of us, Kitai put the egg down and started the bathwater making it lukewarm before slowly walking into the tub pulling my hand with her "Come on Harry stop being a pussy" she said before going under and swimming over to the other side of tube and coming back putting her hair around her neck so her chest wouldn't be exposed. I grabbed the egg from the side of the tub and swam over to her "Remember what Cedric said open it underwater" I said as I handed Kitai the egg and we counted from 3 to 1 before holding our breaths and pushing ourselves underwater. She looked at me making sure I was okay before opening the egg which let out a beautiful voice

Come seek us where our voices sound,
We cannot sing above the ground,
An hour long you'll have to look,
To recover what we took.

Kitai P.O.V

"Holy shit compagnon! C'est quoi ce bordel qu'on va faire?" (Roughly translated to Holy shit mate! what the hell are we going to do?) I said as I wiped the water from eyes looking at Harry who came up and was doing the same thing as me "Je ne sais pas" (Roughly translated to I don't know) He said back looking at me as a smirk played on my face "You learned french? For me??" I said while he smiled and nodded his head at me. We laid back thinking for a for a few minutes before I got the idea "Mermaids!" I said as it came more clear to me the screaming and how it sounded underwater "Oh fuck" Harry said as he grabbed the egg from me and putting it on the ground outside of the tub "Holy shit what now?" I said as I felt myself get nervous "Calm down" Harry said grabbing me and we both made eye contact with each other which led us to lean into each other and closing the gap between our mouths kissing each other. It was soft and sweet before we broke apart and my face was super red "Uhmm I'm gonna get out now and dry off" I said as I swam over to the edge getting out while Harry followed me "Fuck me mate. Potterhead can I use your towel?" I said as I chattering my teeth from the cold that surrounded us "Yeah" he said as he got out and grabbed his towel pulling both of us into it and drying me off in the process "Thanks potter" I said with a blush on my cheeks he nodded his head while turning me around to face him "I love you Harry I really do but I don't think I am in love with you or have a crush on you anymore" I said softly looking down to my feet "Kitai it's okay. I just really needed to do that" Harry said while smirking at me "Well come on Potterhead! it's time for bed" I said as I let go of the towel and put on my flip flops grabbing the egg and leaving the bathroom with Harry following closely behind me.
