"So you're telling me that you killed Joey Bargin?" Robin questioned for the hundredth time. My brow twitched in annoyance, and I nodded. Robin scowled and shook his head in disbelief, "You really fucked up, man."
I growled, "I know Robin, you don't have to rub it in my fuckin' face." I snapped in annoyance. I watched as Robin glared at me, then, purposefully, patted my stomach that had a large, dark, and tender bruise.
I let out a groan of pain and gave him a sharp glare.
Robin then sat down on the other couch that was placed across from the one I was sitting in.
I watched as Robin collected his thoughts, his black hair messy from running his hand through multiple times throughout my story. His front teeth biting his bottom lip in thought.
I knew Robin wouldn't tell anyone, he knew about my father anyways and never told anybody about it. He's one of the only people I can turn to, besides April.
"Who else knows?"
I shrugged, and gulped, "Could be anybody really, I'm not very good at hiding it. But, so far, just you, my dad, and April."
"And who is this 'April' girl?" Robin raised a brow but then smirked. "Is she a girlfriend you never told me about?"
I felt my face redden at his words, "No! No! We aren't dating, we are just friends. She's from my school, and just happened to get dragged into this mess."
Robin nodded, "And you're positive she didn't tell anybody?"
My eyes hardened, and I narrowed my eyes at him. "Yes, Robin. I'm sure." I snapped before I felt my phone ring in my pocket.
I reached into the back pocket of the jeans that I borrowed from April, and I grabbed my cellular device.
It was a number that I didn't save on my phone. I was about to decline the call, but I stopped when I saw the location from where the call was coming from.
It was the same location as me. In the same town, the same state.
I furrowed my brows and decided to answer it.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Ryder."
It was April.
I furrowed my brows, "How'd you get my number?"
A moment of silence passed by, and I raised my brows. Glancing at Robin, he looked confused, but I shrugged him off.
Finally, she answered, "That's not important. What's important, is that someone broke into my house."
My eyes widened, "Well, why the hell are you calling me? Call the police." I stated.
"No," she said immediately. "What matters is what's missing." She stated, and I stayed silent, anticipation crawling up my spine.
"What? What's missing April?"
She sucked in a breath, and my body froze at her words.
"The clothes are missing, Ryder. The clothes that you were wearing that night."
