This is the story about two boys names Unus and Annus. These boys did everything together, from celebrating birthdays to crying over sitcoms, they did it as a team.

But one day Annus got terrible news. He was dying. Not only that, but he only had a year left to live. He was devastated. Not for himself, for he knew his body could handle it, but for his one true friend, Unus. That boy was so emotional, and he loved Annus like a brother. What would he say? What would he do when Annus was gone? Annus pondered these things as he made his way to Unus's house.

When he got there, Unus was so happy that his friend had surprised him with a visit, but that happiness didn't stick around for long. As Annus told him the news, he watched in sorrow as his best friend's face fell. Unus started crying, what was he going to do without his second half? You can't have Unus Annus without Annus!

After calming down a little bit Unus said "We were supposed to grow old together! We were supposed to do everything as a team!"

Annus suddenly got an idea, "Then that is exactly what we're going to do! We still have an entire YEAR left together! Let's do everything!"

And so they did. For the next year Unus and Annus did everything from star gazing in the desert to hosting a Viking Funeral! That year was the best year of their lives.

But of course... the end.... is inevitable.

Soon enough the year was over, and it was Annus's time to "pass on" as some would say. But that day was not a day of mourning, no, it was a day of celebration! For the boys had done much more than they ever would have if Annus had been okay!

Of course Unus was devastated after his friend was gone, but he did not let himself be smothered by the sorrow. Instead, he looked back on all of the fun times he had with Annus, and he used those memories as a drive to live life to the fullest and to do things he wouldn't normally do in honor of Annus's life.

The end.... is not something to fear, for it comes for us all. Instead, we should cherish the time we have, and make the most of it. Do the things we love while surrounding ourselves with the people we love.

Live life to the fullest, because we can never truly know how much time we have left.
