"Are you almost ready, Ava?"
"Yeah, i'll meet you outside,"
"Okay, i'm leaving in about 5 minutes, see you then,"
"See ya,"
I hung up and put my phone back on charge. I walk to my wardrobe to get out my white converse. As I stand up to go to the door, my vision goes partly black and fuzzy and I feel a little dizzy. I blink a few times then go get my phone. Standing outside
1 minute later Chris pulles up infront of me in his grey ute. I open the passengers door and get in saying 'Hello' as im putting on my seatbelt.
"Hey, you dont mind if my friend Brent and his girlfriend walk around the mall with us for a bit, do you?" asks Chris.
"Nope," I smile
On the way there, we talk a bit about our past/childhoods.
As we are walking around the mall, we spot Brent and his girlfriend in a clothing shop. We walk in to say 'Hi'. Chris introduces me to Brent and Brent introduces me to (who must be) his girlfriend, Nicole. We all say 'Hello' then go to the food court to get some drinks.
"What's everyone going to get?" asks Brent.
"I'm getting a frozen coke," says Chris.
Then he points at Nicole, with a questioning face.
"Uhh, I think i'll just get a fanta," said Nicole
Nicole and Brent walk up to the counter to order.
"What are you getting?" asks Chris
"I'm not getting anything, forgot my wallet," I laughed
"Oh, that's alright, i'll get you something. What do you want?" he questioned
"What!? Chris? No! You can't buy me something again!" I said
"Fine.." Chris said as he walked away with a guilty smirk on his face
About 5 minutes later everyone came back with their drinks. Chris sat down next to me and as I moved my chris around so everyone could fit in, he put a regular frozen Coke right in front of me. I looked at him with a confused smile.
"For you," He says
"What? But I said..."
"Shhhh," he said as he put his finger up to my lip.
I put my hand over my face and laughed.
We sat there talking to each other for about an hour. During that hour I got to know more about Nicole. Her and Brent met at a meet and greet. She went to meet him and he fell inlove. She asked how Chris and I met. I told her that I work down at the general store and Chris saw me and its kinda kicked off from there.
Nicole leaned over a whispered to me,
"Chris was texting me last night, and he wouldn't stop talking about you. I think he likes you,"
The moment she said that I looked over at him and he was laughing with Brent.
"Really? Wow, okay," I replied
Half an hour later, we all went down to the park down the road. It was very quiet. It was about 4:30pm and since it was winter, it started getting dark early.
Brent and Nicole lay down on the mini hill and Chris and I sat on the swings. 15 minutes later Brent and Nicole had to leave, we said goodbye and went and sat on the hill.
"We should probably get going too, its dark and my mums probably wondering where I am again," I said
"5 more minutes. The stars are getting brighter," Chris smiled.
I lay my head on his shoulder and we watched the stars sparkle. Chris looked at me a moved my hair out of my face with his thumb. I looked up at him. He leaned down to me, and placed his lips on mine. We kissed.
A minute later we got interrupted by his phone.
"Hello," he said.
As he was talking, I couldn't stop smiling. I picked up my phone and saw I text from Grace.
"Hey! How's things? :)"
"Great. Very great actually;)"
"What's happened? ;)"
"Well. I've met someone ;) ;) and HE is very nice... ;)"
"Ohhh yeah ;) who is he?"
"His name is Chris. And we just kissed! Hahaha ;)"
"Awwh! Haha that's so cute! Its like 12am here and I'm super tired! I miss you! Byeeee xx"
"Haha xD miss you too! Byeee xx"
"What you smiling at?" Chris asked
"Oh I was just talking to Grace," I laughed
"I was just talking to my brother. He needs a ride home from Alexis's. Do you mind if we do a little detour before I drop you home?" He asked
"Nope that's fine," I replied
We started to walk back to the carpark. Got in the car and drove to pick up Crawford. He hopped in the back seat.
"So are you two going out yet?" He grinned
"Ahaha, no..."I replied
"What!? Aw come on chris," he laughed
"Shut up, bro!" Chris said
Chris pulled up outside my house and I gave him a hug.
"Thanks for today, it was great!" I said
"No, thank you," he replied.
I shouted to the back seats
"Bye Crawford!"
"See ya!" He shouted back
I walked inside and saw my parents watching TV.
"There's some dinner in the microwave," mum said
"Thank you,"
After that I walked upto my room and lay on my bed and just smiled.
