Bloom and the other Winx girls traveled from Alfea to Andros within a blink of an eye. Aisha stared across the horizon, the once blue sky, now a dreary shade of yellow. The waves crashed violently against the cliffs.
"Remember to stay focused," Tecna reminded them. "We have no idea just how powerful this Valtor really is."
"Yeah, yeah," Stella said, flipping her long golden hair, an annoyed look on her face. "It's not like you told us a hundred times before."
The others couldn't help but giggle. They found Stella's jokes and opinions against Tecna's logical thinking.
"Enough arguing," Bloom said, once her giggle fit was over. "We have to focus on the task at hand. We can't let another planet fall; like Domino." Her face fell, thinking of her home planet, all the people who were part of her life that she barely knew at all, disappeared without a trace.
They flew around the waters of Andros for a while, their glittery outfits and wings fluttering against the wind. The turned mermaids were snarling and growling at them from a distance.
"Hey, look over there!" Aisha pointed at a weathered down structure in the middle of the ocean, the concrete didn't look like it could hold up anyone. "Let's go check it out."
"Got it," Musa said, flying closer toward Aisha, their wings almost touching. "But we should be prepared for anything."
"Like Poladium said in one of our lessons," Flora pointed out. "And Faragonda, and Grizelda, and every other teacher we ever had."
They laughed at that, too. As they flew closer to the broken down structure, they silenced themselves as much as they possibly could. They landed with a soft thud, their high heels clicking lightly on the cracked cement.
"It doesn't look like there's anyone here," Bloom pointed out, her sparkling blue eyes scanning the surrounding area.
"Something's not right," Musa said, worry creasing her brow. "There is a lot of negative energy here. I can feel it inside me."
"I can feel it, too," Bloom said, her whole body starting to shiver. And that's when she saw him. As if in a mirror, she saw a tall man dressed in formal clothing. He had a pale, long face with light blonde hair. He had blue eyes, too, only a couple shades lighter than her own. Bloom tried her best to hold back her scream; she didn't want to frighten her already shook friends.
"The ground is moving," Flora cried out, quickly levitating herself.
Aisha was quick to follow, then Musa, then Tecna, then Stella. Bloom wasn't as quick, though. The ground split in half, and a powerful force began to suck her in.
A blood-curdling scream escaped from her lips, although she wasn't scared. For some messed up reason, she felt more safe than she had moments ago.
"Someone help me," she yelled out. "Please!"
"Bloom," the Winx girls cried out. They flew down, head-first, arms reached outward. They managed to grip Bloom's hands and arms as they desperately tried to pull her out of danger's way.
Tears started to roll down all their cheeks, fearful tears for Bloom. Fear that she might disappear into the darkness. But, unfortunately, their efforts were useless. The girls' palms started to sweat, their grip loosening. Bloom fell into the hole, the others flying backward.
Aisha did an accidental flip and did a painful looking belly flop into the brown-ish water. Flora, Musa, Stella, and Tecna weren't too far behind.
The giant hole in the middle of the cement was fully closed by the time the girls resurfaced; and Bloom was no where to be found.
