Chapter Five: The Kelly's Mansion
"Where are you taking me?" I asked the man on driver's seat as I moved my eyes around, outside the window noticing how the area around us got more and more lavish with big giant castle like houses, that seemed to come straight out of a 80's or 90's movie about loaded people living in England. It was like we entered a whole new world in San Francisco. I never saw this before. Maybe I'm too poor to come here.
Andrew was handling the steering wheel, as he bobbed his head along with Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams and let out low whistle along the music. That was the third or maybe fourth Taylor Swift's song since we started our ride. He seemed to love Swift's music a lot.
And here I was sitting beside him. In my sport shorts, my favourite Laker's white basketball jersey, converse and a pony tail. I felt completely out of place as I looked around at the houses.. hold up.. mansions, just because of the way I was dressed.
And he was in his usual, leather jacket, dark jeans and this time his shirt was grey.
"Somewhere." He said in between his whistles. He hasn't been talking much since we left school. I was supposed to be with Nathan right now at his house. But because of this stinking bastard, I couldn't go and now I'm here stuck with him, for God knows how long.
It's been three days since I accepted to be his friend. I accepted his follow request and now he had my god damn number too because my so called arse brother talks to him like everyday and gave him my number in one go.
Him and Cole started hanging around with the gang a lot. At the diner, in cafeteria and Andrea even invited them to do a small gathering at her house yesterday. Cole and Andrea were getting along pretty well though.
"Just tell me Jackass." I said as my head spun around to look at him. "You literally told Nathan that "Hey man, I gotta take your girlfriend. You know we are partners so I have these sparkling chemicals at my home that I need to test to know which combination will work to blow up the school's nasty chemistry lab" And you grabbed my hand like a kid and pushed me inside your car."
I kinda had this feeling he was taking me somewhere else. If he had to take me to his house he wouldn't say "Somewhere."
Honestly, I was disheartened when Sonic the Hedgehog, had the audacity to agree with him, after he was done clenching his jaws, and said 'Kiara, I'll see you tomorrow. It's better I get to work with Abigail.'
Abigail, my fucking ass.
"Yes because you are a kid." He lowered the volume a little bit so we could talk, not yell. "Don't dare call this gorgeous thing a car, it's Audi A6." He finished and brought back his smirk.
Did I mention that the black Audi I drooled over was Andrew's. If I would have known it that day, I wouldn't have done that, instead threw stinky raw eggs at it.
"Yeah. I know. You don't have to repeat that over and over again. You already said "Angel, put your beautiful ass in my beautiful Audi A6 and make it more beautiful, it feels miserable without you". I completed as I mocked the way he said that to me.
"You know what." Andrew started, shifting his mood completely and the topic. "If we turn right, we will enter a trail in the forest." He trailed off as he used one of his hand to point out the turn and fixated his eyes back on the road.
"Are you planning to get me there, kill me or something, dude if I ever said something hurtful, I take back those words. I didn't mean calling you all those mean names." I said kind of freaking out, Andrew opened his mouth but I continued. "You will leave me behind to be eaten by those filthy bears. Run away after the crime you committed, move to England or Poland or something fucking, start a mafia gang and go underground.." I continued my long ass ramble and sealed my mouth when Andrew shouted.
