As I release the arrow in less than a second the squirrel fell to the ground with a thud. I smirked well grabbing back my arrow from its corpse.

It felt great to be back in the woods after all the mess that has been my life recently. But sometimes I miss a hunting partner that always knows what I am thinking, but I hate Gale and I don't think I can ever speak to him again after what he did... Prim, I miss her so bad I should have grabbed her.

Peeta
As I put the bread in the oven I couldn't help but think of Katniss all that we have been through, or If she wanted to be with me? Wait I forgot that I left my watch upstairs in Katniss's room, I need the timer on it for the bread. So I slugged my self upstairs and opened the drawers looking for it, then I stopped looking down at the spile from the quarter quell.

Memories came flooding back of the kiss and how I so badly wanted more, or hearing Katniss screaming my name then the arrow hit the force field and everything went to hell then black. Finally, my senses came back and I decided to open it.

Katniss

As I was walking back home with my game bag and jacket the seam looked better not so poor but much fewer homes but the homes that were new looked clean and comfortable with nice flowers in all colours.

I put my game bag on the kitchen counter for Peeta to make something tasty and put my jacket on the clasp. "Peeta" I called, then I heard a faint call back saying "up here" so I followed and saw Peeta sitting on the bed with the pearl in his hand, rolling in his palm with his other hand.  " I." "why did you keep it," he said in a saddened tone " because I loved you then and... It kept me remembering the boy with the bread" I replied, with a tear starting in to roll down my cheek. Then he finally looked up at me, " I love you, girl, on fire".
