Chapter 4

“ How are we going to tell my mom?” Seth asked.

I shrugged. I felt the hot tears steaming down my face but I chose to ignore them as we packed my clothes.

“Lily, are you sure you want to do this? I mean is this the right chose for you?” he asked.

I looked up at him. I may have been around for 80 years and have began to feel comfortable with the idea of becoming a mom but Seth was 17 and this idea scars him.

I sighed and wiped away the tears that were still falling.

“Enough about me what about YOU, do you want this?” I asked.

He shifted uncomfortable.

“Lily that’s not what I meant” he said

“it doesn’t matter what you meant I want to know what you want” I said

He sighed

“you know the answer to this” he says crossing his arms

I started sobbing again.

“No I don’t! I wouldn’t be asking if I did!” I yelled.

He wrapped his arms around me in a comforting way. He kissed my hair. He waited until I was finished sobbing.

“I want you, forever” he whispered.

“are you sure?” I sniffled

He smiled and nodded. I smiled back.

“forever it is” I said

“mom I’m home!” Seth called out.

“mom’s at work and I’m leaving for patrol” Leah said as she was walking out the door.

“Later” Seth called to her.

He turned to me and smiled.

“want to go to my room?” he asked with a wink.

I couldn’t help but smile and nod. We walked up to his room kissing the whole way. We laid me back on the bed and gently kissed my neck.

“you know this is how we got into this situation” I moaned.

He laughed. As he kissed me again. I slipped his shirt over his head and kissed him passionately.

“Seth? Lily?” I heard Sue say.

We quickly pulled away, pushing ourselves up right a few feet from each other.

“uh, Hi, mom” Seth said.

She crossed her arms, the look on her face scared me.

“Please tell me you two are using protection” she said.

I glanced over at Seth to find him looking at me.

“oh god” she said. “when did you find out?” she asked.

“This morning” Seth said.

I was afraid to look up at Sue. I knew she must hate me. She most likely blamed me. These thoughts were buzzing in my head. I heard yelling but I blocked out the sound. I felt this intense pain in my stomach. It was startlingly at first but it got worse. I doubled over and screamed.

“Lily! Lily!” I heard someone shout.
