                        Chapter 1
" A Fool and His Heart"

The grayest sky, the most boldest rose.
The flakes of ice caught in the wind, cutting my nose.
The snow shines forever with its white blinding glint of splendor.
Though my skin is pale, the iron is dense and tender.
The very iron rushes and gushes, causing the paleness to bloom.
I Gloom no more, mantling by the scent of perfume.
The scent drifts from a humbling flame.
By the grande dame translucent flame, an abrupt rainbow she proclaim
Now all the hues form to create the scenery.
Breath taking, mesmerizing, better than any acts of either machinery.
Gullible, I am. Trapped in a gaze upon this white horrid land
Shivering and shaking, only by the fervent hand
A whisper travels the air, from her vague lips I crave so much.
Craving something more than just a touch.
The words brings me joy, bringing me a heavenly tear.
I want the words, I want it near, I want....I fear.
"Just wait for the clouds to form,
wait for the cold to freeze,
wait for the lulling storm,
wait for that wretched breeze.
wait for the rain to wash those tears.
wait, and find the sparkle in your path, so distraught
Continue with no fears
and my presence will rot"

The wind breaks the murmurs, what I deem is her voice
The hues weaken and the memory fail to bring a rejoice.
Perhaps, this memory of mine is something no use.
Make believe is livid, something to choose.
The snow blankets this part and I, still standing alone.
The blush weakens and I'm back to my original tone

Haunting, the wind cries, time passing, so vague.
bruising, forming a pitiful plague
At last, the numbness consumes me.
Though, I still feel thee
Deliberate, most anxious of a loving spirit
Though I was alone, alone was never the thick of it.
Fear of being alone forever, lead me to your warm embrace.
Slowing the rush, loving with such an eased pace.
close to her face, hearts in an open case
But, the loneliness was never replaced.

The wind doesn't cry anymore, but curse with a weakening impetus snow.
Frozen in place, A journey so foolish and callow.
Than something come to mind, something I need.
Something real and horrid, something I should read.
Something.....true indeed.
Her last seasoned words, I ponder, making me sigh.
"Despite if we separate, depart or die.
I must continue, with me, my self, and only I."

The sun, immerse within the abyss of the near obsidian sky,
The winters scene coughing a storm near by.
And the only word here is "why"
And the only reply here is why.
And the sense in my heart is that I will die.
Blindly following the ghosts with the absence of pain.
Gullible I am. Gullible and plain.
For now I stand, against the storm.
Waiting for angels to save my frozen form.
Waiting for anything out in the blind snow.
Waiting for something to forgive the callow.
My stomach empty, my mind weak.
Images fading and my eyes are heavy and bleak.
The snow turns a shade of black.
The darkness turns a shade of white,
And the gloom returns, cursing the mockery of I.. "I!!! The one they call, Dumb Ass Jack"
Cursing and mocking the unfortunate night,
And the darkness is deep and black.

The void of the darkness is dreadful and ominous.
The answers of life could soon be answered by the anonymous....
Anonymous God who warned me of my foolery.
The warnings is clear and subtle, and is sparkling bright jewelry.
At this very moment a sparkle flicks and pierce my eye.
Focusing the blurs in sight, a silhouette forms under the foggy white .
The darkness eases away, and a humbling voice proclaims.
"You are freezing, let me take you inside!"
