Chapter 38

I got back to the house around midnight and it was completely silent. I made my way to the room and immediately went to the dresser to put on something comfortable to sleep in, I grabbed a band shirt and some plaid pants before I pulled my current shirt over my head.

"Where have you been?" the light switched on and Natsu was standing near the door with his arms crossed.

"I thought you were sleep" I quickly pulled the shirt on.

"Where have you been?" he asked again not moving.

"I went to my therapist" I shook off my leggings and stepped into the pants.

"TMZ says otherwise" he pulled out his phone "Spotted roaming the streets Lucy Heartfilia blah blah blah blah blah" he read from the screen "I guess you forgot you can't just do anything anymore" 

"After my therapist I went and got food and hung out with Erza for a little" I walked into the bathroom and got my toiletries to wash my face and brush my teeth. 

"And you couldn't tell me?" he followed me into the bathroom.

"I let my pone chere" I said with toothpaste falling out my mouth, I spat into the sink "I left my phone here, when I left I was mad at you remember" I looked at him though the mirror.

"We'll talk in the morning" he left the room leaving me alone. I washed my face quickly and put on my moisturizer before turning off the lights and going to bed.

"You know I have a life right and I'm trying to get back to it" I put my hair up before I got under the covers. I looked over at the lump beside me and he just grunted so I rolled over to face the wall.

"You know if you want a new mattress that's fine we can do that" his voice filled the silence.

"It's not about the damn mattress, or the sheets, or the decor, its the house the entire freaking building" I scoffed, "What's so hard to understand about that" I rolled my eyes and closed them after a little bit of silence "Night"

I woke up and turned in bed to find Natsu still sleeping so I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom to start my day. I stared at the shower for a little before I turned the water on and grabbed a towel. "Baby steps" I whispered shaking my hands and stepping out of my pjs, I stepped into the shower and took my hair out of its bun so I could wash it. I took my time washing myself and my hair, it's not the same as it was when I first was here. 

"Morning" Nastu's voice broke me out of my thoughts.

"Hey" I looked over at him through the glass as I rinsed myself off. "I was thinking, I should maybe show up to campus today instead of being online you know" I turned the water off and wrapped myself in the towel before stepping out.

"I'll drive" he said drying off his face.

"Oh no it's fine I was just gonna" I started walking towards the closet.

"Just give me a few minutes" he cut me off walking into his closet. I shook it off and got dressed, I put on a crop top shirt and a pair of leggings "Cmon" he stood in the doorway and nodded. I threw on a pair of sneakers and a baseball cap and followed him out.

"Hold on, I forgot my bag" I stoped right before we walked out the door and ran to the chair to grab it, I strapped it on me and then ran back out "Okay now we can go" we went downstairs and stopped by the kitchen to grab coffee and a little bit of breakfast. "So" I said as I sat in the passenger seat.

"So" he copied me as he started the car.

"Don't you have work today?" I asked glancing at him, he had on jeans and a quarter length t-shirt and of course he had a watch and his phone attached to his hip.
