"Ok guys, I have to go now, I gotta sleep." I say, yawning.
"Ok (Name) - chan! We'll call tomorrow?" Muichiro asks, while Yuichiro is quietly sitting behind him.
"Uh.. Sure! I won't forget!" I responded, sounding unsure of my answer.
"Alright then! We'll call you tomorrow! Bye (Name) - chan!" Muichiro cheerfully waved.
"See ya, (Name) - chan." Yuichiro nonchalantly says, slightly waving back at me.
"Oh yes don't forget what day it is tomorrow (Name) - chan!" Muichiro exclaimed.
"Yes yes, I'll be sure!" I said, before ending the call.
"Whew, good thing they didn't notice I was back at my family's old apartment." I thought to myself, plopping down on the bed.
After 3 long years of studying in the US, I'm finally back home in Japan. My English has excelled a whole lot, so I don't really have to worry about language barriers with my American friends and other foreigners who speak English. But anyways, it was the twins birthday tomorrow, and my surprise is coming back home. Good thing they didn't recognize my old room since it was dark. I should really start preparing what I should wear and bring to the twins for their birthday tomorrow. Hm. . . what about a soft like casual look? That would look nice wouldn't it? Or does it look bad on me? I don't know anymore though lmao. Oh my lord I'm turning seventeen in a few months and I'm still so indecisive-- Ok stop overthinking and let's actually start preparing! Why don't I buy those origami set thingys for them-- I think they would like it-- OK ACTUALLY START PREPARING--

Muichiro POV
"Yuichiro ... Do you think (Name) forgot to call us? She would normally call us before we even try to call her ..." I ask hesitantly, constantly looking at the laptop if she called yet.
"Maybe ... But I don't think she would do that, would she?" Yuichiro asks, hands in his pants pockets
"Maybe she forgot what day it was and left us? No no, (Name) would never do that ..." I said, anxiety kicking in.
"Maybe she won't call." Yuichiro coldly says, looking down to the floor.
"Yui! Don't think of (Name) like that!" I exclaimed, scolding him for ever thinking like that.
"Fine, but we can't wait, Mui. We have to start the party without her if she isn't going to attend." Yuichiro says, an upset look plastered on his face.
"Hah, fine. I guess we shall start without her." I said, disappointment washing over my face.
timeskip - after the twins party.
Yuichiro POV
"So ... She didn't come at all ..." Muichiro sighs, helping me clean up the decorations.
"Told you. But ... Why though?" I questioned.
"Well, maybe she's just busy and can greet us tomorrow ..." He responds, picking up the party banners.
"We're all done cleaning up, right?" I ask, looking around for any more mess.
"Yup... Would be fun if (Name) was talking to us via video chat." Muichiro says plopping down on the first step of stairs.
"Yea... I gotta admit, I miss her too." I sigh, sitting down beside him.
"Well you don't have to miss me anymore." I shot my head up to see. . . (Name) ?!
Your POV
"(NAME) - CHAN ?!" Muichiro exclaims, rubbing his eyes.
"Hiya, it's me." I said before Muichiro pulls me into a hug.
"H-how did you get here? Do you remember what day it is? Are you real? Am I hallucinating ???" Muichiro says, throwing questions at me every 0.5 seconds.
"Hey hey, I'll explain. I came back like, a week ago or less since I finished my scholarship in the US. Since I knew it was your birthdays, I decided to pretend to still be in the US so I could suprise you with my appearance. Are you guys not happy to see me? " I ask, kinda disappointed.
"Ofcourse not. I hate to admit it, but I miss you, (Name). Muichiro does too." Yuichiro shyly says, not making eye contact with me.
"Don't need to be embarrassed, I miss you guys too. But it seems like the party's over, so uhm, I think I'm late, eheheh." I said, disappointed I missed the party.
"Would you like to join us to eat? There's still cake in the fridge." Muichiro says, softly smiling afterwards.
"Sure, and happy birthday! I got these guys for you." I said, handing them a small box.
"What is it?" Yuichiro asks, after receiving the box.
"Open it!" I excitedly say, looking at both the twins opening it.
"OK . . ." Yuichiro says, an aura of unsureness surrounding him.
"A... Bracelet?" Muichiro questions, looking closely at the bracelet.
"Not just any bracelet, it's a friendship bracelet with our favorite colors! Plus, I got it engraved with all three of our names on the side!" I happily explained, looking at both of the twins who already wore the bracelet.
"It's really pretty. Thank you, (Name) - chan!" Muichiro thanks and compliments, fascinated by the bracelet.
"It's very thoughtful of you, (Name)." Yuichiro says a small smile on his face.
"No problem! Now c'mon, let's eat the cake!" I said, rushing to their fridge.
"You really are addicted to food, huh?" Yuichiro teases.
"I'm a food enthusiast, thank you very much." I proudly say, looking for the cake.
"Typical (Name)." Muichiro says, still staring at the shiny bracelet.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment or stroke?" I asked, not sure to be grateful or offended.
"Both." The twins say, laughing.
