Josh's POV

Life is unpredictable they say. Unlike everyother time I agree with that statement this time. Every year on this day I used to go to the Costume Festival that takes place in the riverside of the town. When I was a child I used to go with both my parents and after their divorce I used to go there alone because I love being there, Every people and kids in the town will be there wearing almost every costume there is of fictional characters, it would be like a mini halloween that happens on the day and I couldn't help but laugh when I think about the costume I used to wear. I wore the dracula costume for the festival every year. I don't remember wearing anyother dress than that. Now I am a vampire like a dracula, atleast this year I don't need any fake tooths, I can use my real fangs instead of those fake ones.

"How do we look?" A voice broke my thought. Finally Amy and Oliv came out of the trail room, they were standing with their hands on the hips. Their posture said me they are waiting for me to say about their dress. Amy was wearing a pink Cinderella dress and Oliv was wearing a blue one and both looked beautiful in it.

"Are you gonna keep staring at us or you gonna say something?" Amy cleared her throat and said.

"Oh.. Yeah.. I need to say something, You both look lovely in these dress,"

"Thank you," they both said together.

We paid the bill and walked out of my favorite shop, the shop where I used to by my Dracula costume every year. Unlike Amy and Oliv I didn't take much time in selecting the dress, the same Dracula costume but without extra acccessoires. I thought I would miss the festival this year because of the serial killer hunting but when I said about the festival to Amy and Oliv they were more than happy to take off the day to come to the festival with me.

I am pretty sure that we will catch the  killer by the end of the night, thanks to Amy's friend  Jenna, a witch. She agreed to do a locator spell on the last victim Victoria as we gave her things she need to do it, a few belongings of Victoria that we took from her apartment.

"What are you thinking, Josh?" Oliv asked.

"It's nothing, I just couldn't wait anymore  to catch that bastard and save Victoria,"

"Yeah, me too." Oliv said, "When will your friend Jenna gonna call us, Amy?"

"She said she will call me in the afternoon," Amy said, "Untill then, we gonna enjoy the festival mood."

We decided to visit the Lake Bar House that is on the other side of the street. We started walking towards it, the street is filled with children running around here and there and the parents chasing after them. It felt good to spend the day like this without any supernatural drama, a happy normal day like my old days. But deep down in my mind I know things changed, no matter how hard I try, I don't belong to this society anymore, I am a vampire now and I should learn to live with it.

"So you used to come here, every year without missing?" Amy asked.

"Yeah.. I love being here since I was a child, I love to see it as people atleast for one day stopped whatever they are doing and decided to spend a day with their family without worrying about tomorrow."

"That means you used to come with both your parents?" Oliv asked.

"Yeah, they used to take me here when they were together. After their divorce I didn't want to bother them so I used to come alone here and sometimes Ian used to come with me."

"Don't you miss your dad and mom whenever you come here?" Amy asked with a little concern in her eyes.

"I do miss them but it also bring the happy memories that I had with them," I said and they both gave a weak smile.
