Chapter 2: Pilot Part 2

Alex Pov:
Me, Clarke were by the drop-ship waiting for Wells to get back. While I was standing there I looked around when someone in particular came in my sights, Bellamy Blake. He was talking with some guys with his sister beside him when he looked my way and caught me staring he smiled and winked at me. I swear this boy can do things, but something just doesn't feel right like he's done something or it's just me. Then someone started talking getting me out of thought I turn and see it't Wells "We got problems. The communications system is dead. I went to the roof. A dozen panels are missing. Heat fried the wires." Oh well that's just great.
"Well, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather. See? Look. This is us. This is where we need to get to if we want to survive." Clarke said as she pointed at a map. "That's a long trip and we have no idea what's out there and it can't just be us we need more people." I said "Yeah, you're right but we still need to try." Clarke said back. Wells then spoke up "where'd you learn to do that? Your father." A boy then came up I remember him from the ark and the drop-ship I think his name was Jasper? "Ah, cool, a map. They got a bar in this town? I'll buy you a beer." He said. Wells then went up to him "You mind?" "Whoa." Jasper started to back up.
"Hey, hey, hey, hands off of him. He's with us." Oh shit I know that voice anywhere I look over and see John Murphy. Me and him hate each other to know end. That's one of the other reasons they moved me in the box because we would fight all the time. "Relax. We're just trying to figure out where we are" Wells said. "We're on the ground. That not good enough for you?" I turn and see it was Bellamy and we make eye contact only for a moment before I look away. "We need to find Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority" Wells said.
Octavia then spoke up "Screw your father. What, you think you're in charge here, you and your little Princess, and?" when she looked at me she came closer. "Alex?" she asked "Yeah" she ran to me and hugged me. "I didn't know you were down here...wait it was you who spoke up earlier, thanks." "Yeah anything for my best friend." She smiled while she shook her head. Clarke then spoke up "Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be. How long do you think we'll last without those supplies? We're looking at a twenty-mile trek, okay? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now."
"I got a better idea. You two go, find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for a change." Bellamy said. I was shocked he seemed like a nice guy, now I'm not sure. I kept looking at him, when he finally looked at me, he just quickly looked away. Wells screamed "You're not listening. We all need to go." "Look at this, everybody...The Chancellor of Earth." Murphy said "You just don't shut up." I said. Murphy then looked at me "Alex Kane, forgot you were in lockup, and." Out of know where he punched me, but with my past I didn't fall only moved my head. I felt something coming from my nose I moved my hand up and when it came back down I saw it was blood. I looked back up and saw Murphy laughing. "Think that's funny?" Wells said.
They started fighting when someone came up to me I look and see it's Bellamy. "Here" he brought up a piece of cloth and wiped my nose. "Thanks...I think?" "No problem" he then walked back to his sister. He is very confusing he may be nice at one point, but then wham he's a complete dick. When I look back to Wells and Murphy I see that Murphy kicked him in the ankle, I knew he couldn't fight very well. That's until I see Finn jump down from the top of the drop-ship. "Kid's got one leg. How about you wait until it's a fair fight." Finn said.
Octavia came up to Finn "Hey space-walker, rescue me next." I giggled. Bellamy came up to Octavia with a serious look. "What? He's cute." "He's a criminal." "We're all criminals." I said they both looked at me as Octavia started to laugh "You're lucky your cute, or I would have already kicked your cute ass already." Bellamy said as he got closer to my face. "Yeah? Well I'm right here." "Wow Bell, already hitting on my best friend." Octavia said. "Yeah right, well I need to go with Clarke." As I was walking towards Clarke I looked back and saw them talking.
When I got to Clarke I see Finn is talking "Uh! So Mount Weather. When do we leave?" "Right now. We'll be back tomorrow with food. Where's Alex?" "Right here." I said when I was behind her. "How are the three of you gonna carry enough food for a hundred?" Finn went behind him and grabbed two people, Monty and Jasper. "Five of us. Can we go now?" Finn said. I look over and see Octavia running over to us "Sounds like a party. Make it six." Bellamy came up to her and said "Hey, what the hell are you doing?" "Going for a a walk."
"Hey, were you trying to take this off?" Clarke said as she grabbed Finns wrist. "Yeah, so" "So this wristband transmits your vital signs to The Ark. Take it off, and they'll think you're dead." "Should I care." "Well, I don't know. Do you want the people you love to think you're dead? Do you want them to follow you down here in two months? Because they won't if they think we're dying." Clarke said. "Okay" was all he said back. "Now let's go." I looked at Octavia to see if she was coming. "Go on" Bellamy said. Octavia went up and kissed his cheek. I was about to go after her until I felt a hand on my wrist I looked back and see it's Bellamy. "Watch after her... ok. She's all I got."
"Don't worry, she's my best friend I'll watch after her...ok?" "Yeah, ok" "Good." He then let go of my wrist, when I turned back around to get to Octavia I had to jog to her. When I got beside her she had a smile on her face. "What?" "Oh, it's just how cute you two are together." "Shut up." We both started to laugh as we followed the others.
