Chapter 1

Gabrielle's P.O.V

I was finishing up putting my bags in my car to leave school . I was heading home a live in Compton on the bad part I lost both of my parents to drug use so I stay here by myself . I pulled up to my house and hurried in , I changed my clothes to sweats and a tank top . I got comfy listening to music and doing my homework when suddenly there was a knock at the door . I looked threw the peephole only to see a light skinned boy with a lot of hair . He then looked at me and pulled out a gun asking where was jeremy.

" WHERE IS JEREMY ! " the boy said and yes if you were wondering jeremy is my drug dealing brother . I kicked him out cause he was putting my life in danger .

" I don't know " I said he then grabbed me by my arm yanking me out the door and putting me in the back of a van . He told me if i kicked or scream he would end it so i kept quiet .

We then pulled up to this house and I heard him get out the car and yank my by my arm into the house

" Here she is " he said to some chocolate man .

" So u dont have my money " he said

" Sir I don't know what your talking
bout " I said

" Well then we will see about that until you or your brother get my money your going to be staying here " how could he I was not the one .

" Umm Excuse me it's not going to happen I dont work for you so you take that up with my brother " the light skinned boy pulled out his gun and pointed it to my head .

" Your going to stay here with prince until YOU OR YOUR BROTHER COME UP WITH MY MONEY ! " I was now scared the prince guy took me up to a room that I think is his .

" SIT DOWN AND DO NOT GET UP OR LEAVE IF I FIND OUT YOUR GONE WHEN I GET BACK THATS THE END OF YOU !! " when he yelled it made me jump but I then nodded my head then he walked out the door .

I then sat there and cried after I cried I dozed off on his bed . I then heard him come back late at night and he was downstairs. I just went down there to check he was on the couch watching tv .

" umm excuse me prince but my I have a shirt or something to sleep " he then got up . We went upstairs and he pulled out a white t-shirt it was to big anyway so it was perfect I was wondering where I was going to sleep .

" I guess I'll sleep on the couch you can sleep in here " he said

" thank you and goodnight " with that he left out the door and I turned off the light i got in the bed and went to sleep I thought of how long I was going to here but I hope tomorrow is better than today .

Jacob's P.O.V

Right after I left her room I was headed downstairs to the couch. I then got a call from my boss.

" Hello" boss said

" Yea what are we going to do with her " I said .

" Until her brother comes up with my money she's going to be staying at your house and make sure she doesn't escape" I mean I dont mind her staying with me so thats fine .

" You got it boss" I hung up took off my shoes and went to sleep.
