Season 2: Episode 6

I walk down the hall, which was filled with spiderwebs and orange and black decorations. Walking alongside Willow, I look around at the decorations, which seemed a bit excessive for the occasion. Buffy and Xander were in the middle of a conversation, stating that halloween was one of the only night the creatures of hell didn't come out to play. That's a relief, I think. I'd only been part of the gang for a month, and vampires seemed to pop up at the worst times, not to mention the bleached one who still hasn't bothered to make an appearance since parent teacher night. Giles said that this meant they were planning something big.

I glance over to the sign up table, where people could sign up to take some kids trick or treating. Not exactly the way I'd want to spend my Halloween. I was planning on eating candy and having a horror movie marathon wearing comfy pajamas. However, Snyder had had just made Buffy sign up, meaning that Willow, Xander, and I were next. Cursing in my head, I scrawl my name on the sign-up sheet, thinking of the night in that I wouldn't have.

Once we get out of earshot, Buffy lets out a huge sign, " Now I have to find a costume."

Willow perks up, "I heard there was a new costume store down the street, we could go check that."

"Sure," I agree. I had no idea what I wanted to be, and I was known for taking a long time to make decisions. I better go now or I'll be stuck with a DIY sheet ghost.

We reach the store, which was cluttered with a large assortment of costumes. Xander goes off to look at weapons right away, leaving the rest of us to find costumes on our own. I go to the wrack on my left, skimming through the monster themed costumes. Chuckling, I pull out a vampire one, looking over the skimpy red dress. That gives me an idea. I hop over to Buffy, who was walking away from a screaming pumpkin. "Vamps don't go out on Halloween, right?"

Buffy nods, looking down to the vampire costume in my hand "According to Giles."

I laugh, "Great, I just need to find a white wig."

Her face drops as she realized my plan, " No, you're not going to."

I smile and walk off to find a realistic looking wig. Piling my things up at the front desk, I glance to the cashier, who sort of looked like Giles. " Vampire?" he says, smiling at me.

"Yeah, sort of an inside joke," I chuckle.

"Well, I certainly hope you have the night of your life," he says, handing me the paper bag.

I smile and walk out of the store, clutching the bag to my chest. Xander walks up to me, "What did you get?"

I turn away, " You'll see."

Halloween comes after a long night of sleep. I don't wear my costume to school, I wanted to save it for later. Instead, I put on a Nightmare before Christmas crop top and a unicorn horn, just to look festive. I didn't stay to talk after school, I would need some time to get ready, my costume takes a lot of work. Sliding into the black dress, I pull a red button up over it, followed by my own leather jacket. Pinning back my hair, I put on the bleached wig, styling it straight back with gel. I contour my face, pulling a pale skin tone and high cheekbones, before putting on winged eyeliner and red eyeshadow. Putting in some fake fangs, I smile into the mirror. I looked wicked hot, and very slutty. The black dress clung to my hips, and exposed a large amount of my breasts. Some of this was covered by the layers of jackets that I had on, but it was still obvious. My makeup was perfect, dark, and sultry, making me look mysterious. I grab my flashlight to go and meet at Buffy's house.
