Our parents said they we going to come down to the school but they called and cancelled an hour ago.

I was currently in my room getting my stuff ready for our first classes tomorrow. We thought we would have to room with each other because of how late we started but turns out that our parents actually built extra rooms onto the school for when it was out time to start school here. Our parents helped fund the school.

I heard someone knocked on my door bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Come in. It's unlocked" I called out and I saw as Luka poked his head through the door.

"Uh h-hey, was just checking on you", he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey", I said as I tapped the other side of the bed and he walked over and sat down resting his hands on his knees with his head in his hands.

"What's wrong?" I asked while rubbing his back.

He turned to look at me and his eyes were glowing but it wasn't their usual color this time they were dull.

"Do you not care about me?" He asked worriedly and I felt my heart literally fell in my chest.

"Why would you think that" I questioned wide eyed.

"Ever since you found out that we were mates you haven't even looked in my direction" he said and I could hear the pain in his voice.

I got up and stood in front of him, while lifting his head with my pointer finger.

"Of course I care about you, I just didn't want to be obsessive. I could never not care about you, even before knowing that we were mates", I told him honestly.

"You could never be too obsessive Mist, we're mates". He told me looking straight into my eyes and the spark that they had were back.

"So this means you'll start acknowledging me?", He asked hopefully.

"Of course and I'm sorry that you think I didn't care", I told him as he stood up and hugged me.

We pulled away from the hug and he used his pointer finger to lift my head right before kissing me and I kissed him back.

I swear It felt like bolts of lightning were traveling through our lips and taking over my whole body, I didn't want it to end. However, the universe was against us and we had to pull apart for air.

"Did you feel that!" I asked him out of breath and he nodded with a smirk.

I lay down on the bed and he came on after words and rested his head on my stomach. We talked until I fell asleep.

My alarm went off and I felt an arm around me. I let out a squeal and rolled away from the person but ended up on the ground.

"Ouch!", I hissed then I saw Luka's head pop over the bed.

"Shit" he said and ran around to my side and helped me up.

As I stood we both busted out laughing.

"You should've seen your face, you looked like I broke in two", I told him while I held my stomach laughing.

"You scared me", He said.

"And we're going to be late!", I squealed as I glanced over at my alarm clock and ran to the bathroom.

"Go get ready, now!", I shouted to him through the door.

"Ok mom!", He shouted back and I rolled my eyes.
