Chronological order of stories I plan to finish in the future:

Namjoon - Just as Friends

Hoseok - Autumn Angel

Jin - Frozen Grapes

Jungkook - (Still haven't figured out a title lol)

Author's Note Time! Yayayaya get excited everyone.

Lol I'm really curious to see how long this one is going to be. The one for Just as Friends was about five pages. Right now, I feel like it won't be that long, but idk. I guess we'll just have to see.

I was actually really scared to start this story because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish it. For anyone that's reading this and is also a writer, I'm sure you know well that it's easy to be extremely motivated to start a new story, but then ideas can sizzle out quickly and you're left with ten different unfinished stories. As a victim of that myself, I was a little hesitant to start Hoseok's story because honestly, I didn't even know what the storyline would be. For Namjoon's story, I had the outline in my mind, but for Hoseok's I didn't know what date ideas I should do, what the storyline should be like, or even what the main character would be like. I went into this story blind, and as a result, I had to spend a couple of days brainstorming and doing a lot of research. This research did include watching a lot of Hoseok-related videos on YouTube so I'm not exactly complaining.

So yeah, in the beginning, it was a real mess, and there was a genuine fear of mine that I wouldn't really have enough ideas to develop an entire story. I think all of my stories should be at least around 75 pages, just because I feel like that's just the right number to show character development, but also not drag anything out too much. When I first started this, I was scared I wouldn't even reach that minimum I set for myself, but fun fact, towards the end of the story, I was afraid it would get too long haha. Autumn Angel is about one hundred pages.

I got inspiration for the name "Autumn" because I've always loved the Korean counterpart of it: Ga-eul. Ga-eul was the name of a character in a K-drama Boys Before Flowers which I started watching when I was like eight lol but never finished. I probably will one day in my future because it's a K-drama classic, but yeah, the only thing I really remember from that drama is how much I loved the name. "Ga-eul" does have a literal translation in English to "autumn" or "fall," and I love that transition way too much. When trying to decide the surname, I decided to use "Lee" because in English, Autumn's full name would be "Autumn Lee" which kind of sounds like "autumn leaves" skbjnsrobnlk get it? Get it? I'm so proud of that ahhaah I'm legit smiling so hard right now.

Just to clear up any confusion, in the story, whenever someone Korean says "Autumn," they are saying "Ga-eul" irl. I just wanted to use Autumn because, like I said, I'm in love with the name.

Originally, Autumn was supposed to be like any other Korean girl with long, straight hair. While researching the ideal types of the members I hope to write stories on, no joke (no joke) all of the members said they prefer girls with long, straight hair. Which is fine, but I don't really want all of my characters to be the same person haha. Yuna already has long and straight hair, Jungkook's girl will as well, and as for Jin's girl...I'm not sure yet, but it's definitely a possibility. (Edit: She won't hahha. I'm working on Jin's story now and am about halfway through) So, I wanted to throw something different in with Autumn.

During the first two pages of writing this story, I was also rereading Entanglement by Sooaura, and the female lead in that story was also Blasian. That was when I seriously started considering if I should do the same for my story as well, especially because there are not nearly enough Black leads on this platform. On any platform for that matter. While doing further research on Hoseok, I remembered that he's also a large fan of Tinashe, and that kind of sealed the deal. From there, I decided that Autumn would be half-Korean half-Black. Because Hoseok is also one of the members that is more open to the idea of dating a foreigner and even said that he wouldn't mind too much if his significant other spoke another language, I thought it worked out really well and I'm so glad I decided to include this detail.
