Third person's POV

Kiyan saw Liliana disappear, he growled while looking for her then saw Flame.

Flame's danger instincts came flashing, he spread his wings to ready himself to fly. As he blinked, Kiyan suddenly loomed in front of him! Flame immediately flew high and Kiyan cleanly punched the branch Flame is standing on! Master! Please don't make me hurt you! As Kiyan leaped after grabbing his sword, Flame immediately made a huge fireball on its beak and threw it at Kiyan.

Kiyan cut through it easily then swung at Flame, but the phoenix dodged out of the way and Kiyan landed on another higher branch.

I need to get Kiyan off me for just a few moments, can you distract him for me?

If it means saving Master, I'll do it.

Time to make the deal of Master Liliana.

Flame's chest puffed and blew a flamethrower towards Kiyan! Kiyan immediately blocked the flames with the broadside of the greatsword and leaped down on him, this time, Flame flew away Follow me, Master! Kiyan followed with the agility of a ninja - jumping from trunk to trunk or branch that he could land on to follow after his target.

Kiyan made a giant leap and he caught up to Flame, swinging the sword at him. The bird made a sudden turn upwards and Kiyan missed his attack, Flame quickly formed multiple fireballs above and shot them at Kiyan! Kiyan swiftly evaded them, the forest is erupting with multiple explosions as the fireballs missed their mark and crashing on tree trunks instead. He saw a chance and jumped towards the bird, Flame spewed another flamethrower from its beak but Kiyan pushed through, grinning evilly and swung the greatsword to Flame!

Flame's talons got covered in fire and turned into a larger and fiery talons! He intercepted Kiyan's swing with it Please, calm down, Master! Kiyan pulled his sword and swung multiple times at Flame - doing an aerial duel for a moment until Flame grabbed hold of the sword and forcefully threw Kiyan to a trunk!

As Kiyan slammed on the tree, Flame immediately made a follow-up attack by throwing multiple fireballs at Kiyan's spot! A lot of explosions erupted at the moment. Kiyan's body dropped from the smoke and landed on the ground, kneeling weakly, obviously battered by Flame's attacks.

Kiyan glared at the bird, he let go of his weapon to pick up multiple stones. One by one but in a fast manner, he threw them towards Flame! The phoenix immediately is on the evasive maneuvers, making an agile flight by making swift sharp turns and dives to avoid the rocky missiles. Flame also countered back with fireballs but Kiyan easily outran them, still holding a stone at hand, he threw it at Flame!

The bird sent a fireball at it and exploded midair.

Flame's eyes immediately focused on the ground when the smoke dispersed but didn't see him there, his attention is then caught on a movement running up a trunk. Multiple fireballs then are homing in towards Kiyan but still easily dodged. Flame's body flared up - he made a vertical flight to the sky then made a steep dive, the fire on Flame's body turned from orange to fiery red as his speed doubled. He made a beeline towards Kiyan but Kiyan dodged out of the way, Flame hit a trunk and made a hole on the surface! 

He followed after Kiyan, the two are having a high-speed chase as Flame charges at Kiyan with a flaming tackle! Kiyan landed on a thick branch then leaped away before the phoenix could hit him, Flame charged through the branch and destroyed it with ease!

When Kiyan got himself crouching on the trunk, he leaped towards Flame again in the attempt to attack. Flame stopped abruptly on his tracks, his red flames went to his wings, not only it turned the wings red but they grew larger! He swung his left wing then his right towards Kiyan - a couple of blazing, blade-shaped shockwaves traveled to Kiyan!
Despite in his possessed state, his eyes widened in surprise! Kiyan parried away the first then blocked the next one but got pushed away with it! He gritted his teeth in effort and managed to parry it skyward! He thrusted his weapon on the trunk and stood on the broadside, panting.
