Am I doing something wrong? As I walked in no one looked at me. Not because they were avoiding me, but because I must not have been interesting enough. This is what I was scared of when I came to this school. I was scared that my experience here would be the same as last time.
While trying to act unaffected, I went up to the teacher. She had chin length, straight hair that must have been dyed a dark red, and blue eyes. She was quite pretty.
"Hi, I'm new here, and I'm not sure where to sit."
With a smile on her face she said, "I think I've heard about you, Eve right?"
I nodded, "Well I am the MAGNFICENT Mrs. Smith! You sound like a soprano so sit on the left side of the room. Everyone here is very accepting, and this is a very talented group of kids. I'm sure you'll only add to that talent!"
I nodded a little shyly and went to sit down. As soon as I sat down a girl with wavy blonde hair, and big blue eyes started talking to me.
"You must be the new girl I've heard so much about! You're not as pretty as everyone says...KIDDING!"
I giggled, I was happy to have a friend in this class! I didn't now what to expect after first walking in!
"They probably exaggerated just a tich. My names Eve, what about you?"
I wanted to get to know this girl better!
"My name is Madison, that's a little awkward to keep saying though, so feel free to call me Madi!"
We were startled as Mrs. Smith suddenly hit a couple notes on the piano. Actually, I was startled, it seemed that Madi was used to it.
"LETS WARM UP!"
Mrs. Smith seemed really excited to be here... As I sang along with warm ups people surrounding Madi and I glance towards me. Now usually I wasn't self conscious. At all. But when it came to my singing voice, I was as self conscious as I was the last time I was in this school.
After going through a couple of songs that (ofcourse) the rest of the class already learned, we were told to put our music away and wait by the door for the bell to ring. Madi and I started talking about class schedules, while talking, some other kids decided to join. I was starting to learn that the reason for everyone not noticing me at the beginning of class wasn't because they were rude or didn't like me, they just didn't feel the need to have friends who were worried about their appearance. I quickly changed their opinion of me after a few smiles and laughter. They were very accepting, even if I did care about what I looked like.
I was starting to genuinely enjoy this school.

Multiple kids felt the need to run through the hallway, I just leisurely walked, hoping Drake would find me. Truth is, I might have forgotten the way to History...
I spotted Drake down the hallway and dramatically waved both of my hands back and forth.
Time for my next class.
