Chapter 1   A Pleasure To Run

It was a pleasure to run. the wind in my face, eyes protected by my goggles. But I tripped. Falling to the ground, I looked around hoping for help, wanting not to be caught. Rubble everywhere around a crimson sky that will never turn blue again, not since the imperial government took over.

With a burst of energy, I got up and started to walk through the leftover rubble of old buildings. Strangle enough I ran on like nothing ever happened. No. This was to quiet even thou odd bits and pieces of once hole objects lay on the floor like they were dead, or wanting to be taken away by the dark angel himself. It was at that moment I happen to look upon an old axe head, that had been freed from it's hilt. and a old looking guitar that had been broken in two pieces. But with my imagination and crafting skills i was able to fuse them together to create and guitar battle axe.

From then on my spare time was used to train myself in ways people my think extreme or to dangerous for a boy like me, but i don't listen to them. When I say 'them' I mean the undergrounders the people who are to scared or have been placed on the government kill list. The underground is my home I was taken here when my parents where killed, my life was torn into pieces but a stranger called 'Howl' he found me crying over the body's of my dead parents. The only thing he said was "stand up, stop crying, grab what you want to keep and come with me".

Then from that day he taught me how to fight, run long distances and also the most importantly how to survive in the once beautiful New York. Now all it is over grown buildings and starving families covered in a blanket of government propaganda. That was me once a boy supporting the government, out of fear until they killed my parents that's when my opinion changed.
