Little Miss Perfect (Lumity)

"I can see it-"

I eventually just decided to stay over with Luz, and the next morning I woke up to her next to me with her arm around my waist. I immediately felt embarrassed and pushed myself off of the couch, making a loud thump and let out a yelp, Luz popped her head up and came right to my side. "Amity!"

Luz helps me up by pulling my hand leading me to bump into her, our faces barely apart now. I pushed back and fell again, this time getting myself  up, "Ugh-" I let out a groan and Luz starts to laugh, "Whats so funny?" I snap at her, she looked surprised and stopped laughing. "I just.. thought it was kind of funny.." I glare at her but then chuckle as well letting her know that it was alright.

It was a Friday so Luz and I got ready, I just fixed up my hair because I did not want to go home, and were on our way to school. When we got there people started to stare, as they did when i hung around Luz, but i ignored it. Willow and Gus were standing near a bench in the courtyard and we walked up to them, I awkwardly waved to Willow and she waved back.

"Hey guys!" Luz exclaims grabbing them into a hug, once released, Gus began to laugh and smirked at me and Luz. Willow joined, giggling, she said "So are you two friends now?" I looked at her confused while Luz looked at me for an answer.

"Yeah, we're cool or whatever." Luz smiled at me and we focused on Willow and Gus, they started to walk off and Gus said "Pfft okay.. See you after class" With that, he winks and they disappear from view.

I look at Luz and see she's confused too, "What was that about?" She asks me, immediately a million thoughts surround my head, what if they now what happened yesterday? What if they think we're something? I blurt out "Haha I don't know, just Gus being Gus" I shrug my shoulders and Luz asks me if im okay, I respond with "Yeah totally, why wouldn't i be hahaha ok class time!" I pull her hand and take her to our first class.

During the class, Willow whispered something Luz in which I only heard Luz respond - "What? No, thats- thats not happening, Willow." I listen more, pretending to work, "Luz listen. I can see it-" She cuts Willow off and says "No, I'm not like that." Willow looks at me with a look of disappointment and she can tell I heard the conversation and that im physically confused.

She shrugs her shoulders at me and goes back to her work, Luz started to work again already and I just thought about yesterday and got embarrassed yet again by my own thoughts.

Class ended and Luz sprints out of the room, it was more of a speed walk like if you were trying to go somewhere and didn't want to be bothered, I followed her though. She makes her way to an empty hallway and slumps down near a locker, hugging her books tight and just looking really sad.

I finally make my way to her and she looks up at me, her eyes glistening with slight tears on her face, I rush down next to her. "Luz, whats wrong?" She sniffles and looks away from me, I do something that I never thought I'd do to her, I pull her into a hug and just hold her. She begins to sob until she pulls away, "I-I appreciate that Amity." I wipe a tear from her face and nod my head, "Of course." I look at her as she started to explain what happened.

"...And I just didnt want anyone to know" she says finishes her story, I looked at her with a shocked face. She was getting hate for hanging out with me.. I could feel my face getting hot as I pull her into another hug, I pull away and stand up. "Luz.. I promise that no one is going to bully you again. Whenever you go to classes, ill walk with you, whenever you go to lunch, I'll walk and sit with you." I smile at her and hold out my hand for her to grab, she grabs it and I pull her up.

We begin to walk to her second class, hand in hand.

As my second class ends, I run to Luz's class waiting for her by the walls. She comes out of the room with a smile on her face once she sees me, I smile back and usher her to come to lunch with me. We sit at a table, eventually, Gus and Willow join us smiling at both of us as they did this morning. Luz giving them a glare and they start to talk about their classes.

I wanted to ask Luz about her conversation this morning but she would get mad at me for listening in I know it. I decide to shake the thought out of my head and focus on the conversation. Our talks were interrupted by laughter and pointing fingers all around us, Luz buried her head in her hands and shook her head.

I looked at her and looked back to Willow and Gus who were also hiding a bit.

The intercom screeched on and everyone when quiet, "Amity Blight. Come to my office" Bump said, I looked at everyone and Luz raised her hand and put it on my shoulder.

Why was I going to the principals office?

I walk down the hall into the office and am out of words. My parents were there.

I walked up to a chair and sat down, my parents eyeing me clearly upset. My mother holds up a photo, "Who is this?" She waits for an answer as the picture was of me and Luz sleeping on her couch together. I immediately feel my whole world fall apart, because I know whats going to happen. "Do you see this, Amity? We do not associate ourselves with humans."

I get overwhelmed and start to panic, "Its nothing! I was just joking with her! I promise, there's nothing in that picture that meant anything to me." I instantly regret my words and Principal Bump lets me go, i walk out of the office with a final glance from my mother and let out a sigh of relief.

"It didn't mean anything to you?" I hear from in front of me, it was Luz. I open my eyes wide and walk up to her, she was nearly in tears. "No, Luz I-" She runs away from me. It feels like my heart just shattered.

A/n: Whats a fan fic without some dRama and sAdness? you know what i thought of, in the song "can you feel the love tonight" willow and gus are Timon and Pumbaa and amity is simba and luz is the girl lion (when you forget her name) and they all sing the song together that would be cute
