Weapon Name: Heavy Cannon Rifle

Variant: Slayer's version

Description: 

The Heavy Cannon is built from Tungstronium, a proprietary alloy developed to withstand the stresses from the explosive darts it can use as ammunition.

Its great weight, while a common complaint among users, makes it an effective sniper weapon as it reduces the effect of swaying and tremors.

Although recently superseded by the Plasma Rifle as the UAC's standard-issue weapon, this weapon is still in widespread.

Main reasons: dependable mechanical firing mechanism, high accuracy at long range, and an abundant supply of ammunition for middle to heavy infantry.

The Doom Slayer's version is heavily altered by replacing the single barrel with a rotary variant, which helps decrease overheating while maintaining a sustainable rate of fire.

Another reason is that he needs a substitute for the Minigun after its destruction during the Great War.

Moreover, it utilizes the Personal Armament Conjuration Kit (or PACK), designed by the Slayer.

By the namesake, it harnesses the souls consumed by the demigod and manifests them into .50 calibre FMJ rounds before 'conjuring' each rapidly to the bullpup magazine;

Making the reloading unnecessary and maintain unabated firing until the 'souls' are all disposed of. (If that is even possible.)

The weaponry is effective at all engagement distances and is best used against a solitary target unless the Micromissile modification is present.

Its no-pull reflex trigger system demands excellent trigger discipline to prevent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Modules:

1. The Micromissile Mod - provides a dramatic temporary power increase, allowing the firing of up to twelve explosive missiles which detonate on impact.

The forend must be pumped first to activate the module before firing. Its missiles have minor homing abilities.

2. The Precision Scope Mod - adds a scope to the heavy cannon, greatly increasing its effective range when aiming down the sight.

The Heavy Cannon fires modified .50 caliber FMJ rounds that can pierce through armor and weaker foes.

These are automatically conjured by the PACK upon detection of the Slayer's visor near the scope.
