3rd Person POV
You were working at the cafe part-time while you were still a student at university. "Here is your order, sir." You as a waiter give the order of a standard hot coffee and two slices of toasted bread to the customer at the table.
"Thank you," He said to you kindful as you left him. You tried to write down each ticket that was from each group of customers' orders.
"Are you done, ma'am?" You politely ask the customer who was finished with her food.
"Oh thank you," She replies mindfully. You took the dishes to the bucket where the dishes are transported to the sink for the dishwasher to wash them. You broke off a sweat as you try to head back to the breakroom since the break hour has already started.
"Man, you are one lucky guy, trying to impress the customer with your kindness." Em/n (Employee's name) said to you. He looks energetic, but he does lack the maturity to be a waiter. His role in this job that he had is a dishwasher. "I bet everyone would love you since you've been attracted to this cafe."
"Come on, it's not like that because of my sweet words. I only do my job for money since I have been hired here." You naturally said. You only wanted a straight calm life since you've been moved to university without your parents and end up living in the apartment. It must be hard to live up to your life by just paying the rent. "And besides, my life is not as great as you think."
Em/n: What do you mean?
Y/n: The apartment is for rent. It sucks just to pay up to stay in the room. I wish I have this much money to pay for a house to live in without paying rent.
Em/n: Pfft, good for nothing. You should have spent the money you have before taking this job.
Y/n: I wish. The cost is too expensive. I'll never get a house in a few days.
Em/n: I bet I would. Turns out, the house is a nature of beauty if it means living in a beautiful street outside.
Y/n: That's not what I meant by needing a beautiful house for all of this.
"Hey, are you guys done with the chatting?" The manager opens the door without any hesitation. "Y/n, I need you out here for the customers."
Em/n: Heh, looks like he needs a gentleman for the ladies again.
"Just don't mind me," You left. You went back to work as you continue as a waiter. You work hard on showing your passion until you meet a girl with a mild expression. She looks small and shorter than you. She looks alone, but you try to ask her politely since she is a customer. "Hello, miss here is your order here." You give her an order booklet to let her see what she wants. You let her read it while you tried taking the order from other customers. You return to her to see if she's done reading. "Hello, are you done reading the menu?"
Girl: Yes.
"...Ok," You look worried about her expression. "Now, how may I take my order, miss?" You make your hand with a pencil ready to write down her orders on the ticket.
Girl: A cheesecake, strawberry tart, and blueberry muffin. And I want a honey lemon tea as well.
"Alright then, just wait and your order will be in a second." You finish writing down her orders on the ticket as you head to the kitchen to place a ticket on the ticket holder.
"Jeez, you never saw her this mild before?" Em/n starts making a chat with you.
Y/n: What do you mean?
Em/n: I heard her before. Her name is Melexis. She was all quiet for the entire time. She looks quite lonely because of that. Not to mention that she's all lovely when she comes for her favorite sweets.
