After that night Y/N came into the village, Kehira started to train him daily. At first, he decided to take the training slow to allow him to get used to the training. However, Y/N quickly adapted to the training as this surprised Kehira allow to cause him to smirk and pick up the pace of training.  Kehira also enrolled him in the Ninja academy after informing the Hokage about the incident as he brought Y/N with him.

Sarutobi: So this is the child you have taken in Kehira?

Kehira: Yes Lord Hokage.

Sarutobi: Hmmm. Said as he looked at Y/N. I see that he is still wearing that mask. Has he taken it off?

Kehira: I've tried asking him to remove it when meeting some of the villagers, but he refuses to do so. Said as he looked at Y/N. That mask was a gift from his mother. In a way, he wants to stay close to his mother by wearing it.

Sarutobi: I see. Said as he sighs. I can't help but feel sorry for him, having to witness his parents died in front of him.

Y/N looked down at the floor as he tightens his grip on his clothes.

Kehira: If I may ask Lord Hokage, can he be enrolled at the ninja academy?

Sarutobi: You want to enroll this child into the academy? Why's that?

Kehira: He is quite a fast learner and I want him to start making friends as well. Said as he placed his hand on Y/N's shoulder. I know he will be a great shinobi and a great person once he opens up to people.

Sarutobi looked at him for a moment before looking at Y/N.

Sarutobi: I'm not against the idea. However, from what you told me before, he is also a jinchuriki as well. If word gets about him being a jinchuriki, I'm not sure how it will playout for the boy.

Kehira: I assure Lord Hokage nothing will happen. I will make sure of it. Said bowing his head.

Sarutobi smiled as he looked at Y/N.

Sarutobi: Are you comfortable with joining a classroom full of kids your age? You won't cause any trouble now, will you?

Y/N shook his head in response saying no.

Sarutobi: Hmmm not much of the talking kind are you.

Again Y/N shook his head.

Kehira: Forgive him, Lord Hokage, he's been like this since he came to my house.

Sarutobi: Well I don't blame him for being one of no words. From what he's gone through, it must be devastating. Although he will need to remove that mask.

Y/N: No. Said getting their attention.

Kehira: Y/N, don't be rude to him. Said looking at him. Show him some respect.

Sarutobi: It's alright Kehira. Said as he looked at Y/N. Is there something you want?

Y/N placed his hand on his mask pressing it against his face.

Y/N: Stays on, I go. If not, I don't.

Sarutobi stayed quiet for a moment looking at the boy before he spoke.

Sarutobi: It will be difficult for you to make friends you know this.

Y/N: Don't care. Said as he removed his hand. Stays on. No matter what.

Sarutobi stayed quiet for a bit before he sighs.

Sarutobi: He's quite stubborn. However, I will allow this just for you.
