Not Ready

(Y/n) was both happy and exhausted as she entered the apartment. She had had a very exciting and adventurous day with Ash they had went shopping, sightseeing, out to eat, and just overall spending the day together. This was just an amazing mommy and daughter day and perfect bonding time. It had been three months since Ash joined the family and she had adjusted good and was talking more in fuller sentences, she was comfortable around everyone (especially Peter), and to the top it off she had a tutor so she going to get her education. Everything was going so well and everything was falling into place.

"Is it okay if I go show Wanda and Natasha the things I bought?"

"Of course, you know you don't have to ask me right. I mean it's nice you let me know but you can do whatever you like. No one is going to stop you."

"I.. I know I just..."

"It's okay I just want you to know that. Freedom free will you have it here. Now go on and show Wanda that beautiful new dress you got. Natasha is going to love it." (Y/n) says shooing her out the door Ash had come to be great friends with both Natasha and Wanda and spend a lot of time with the two women.

"Okay, I'll be back for dinner."

After watching Ash Leave (Y/n) picked up her bags humming to herself she went to her bedroom. " Hey boys I went shopping and -oh, OH"

Steve and Bucky were in bed together naked looking like they were about to do the deed. Not wanting to interrupt them (Y/n) quickly backed out of the room with a string of apologizes and went back to the living room.

"H-Hey," Steve said as he rushed into the living room still putting on his shirt. (Y/n) was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"I didn't mean to interrupt you can go back. I'll give you two a moment and stay out here."

"Or you could come join us instead of running away," Bucky said as he came out he was in no rush and opted to leave his shirt behind.

"Um...no"

"what's wrong?" Bucky asked. (Y/n) started looking around the room anywhere but them her she began to fidget with her fingers and move further into the couch almost trying to getaway.

"I'm sorry I just... no" Bucky moved to take a seat next to her and Steve moved to sit on the coffee table in front of her. Steve tried to take her hand but she pulled away. " I... I'm sorry but I don't think I'm ready yet."

"ready for what- sex?"

"After everything, I don't think I'm ready to get back to that. I'm sorry. I don't mind you two being together. I'll just leave and give you the room. But for me ...right now I can't do it."

"Hey, Hey, it was a joke," Bucky said pulling her into his side. Steve took her hands " I was just messing around teasing. If you don't want to you don't have to."

" I know it's just I know it has been a while since I... put out. I mean it's been eight months since we last-"

"Our relationship isn't built around sex. I will admit we did use it to lead serious conversation before but we've learned we can have the pillow talk without sex. We don't need sex, sweetheart, we aren't forcing you and we don't need you to force yourself. We don't want to make you uncomfortable in any way. We love you." Steve kissed her forehead

"I really am sorry"

"You have no reason to be. If you ever want to talk about it or- just come talk to us. Whenever you're ready" Bucky said kissing her hairline "we're here for you".

"Enough about all that. Show us what you got"

"Don't you two want to finish. I can't wait."

"We're already done, sweetheart. You walked in wearing these adorable shorts and -and we were both down for the count" Steve said as he pulled her into his chest.

"oh-OH" (Y/n) blushed and looked away.

"Yeah" Bucky chuckled" who knew you could get us with one look. Now like I said enough of all that. Put on a show for us and strut your stuff."
