Turn 41 - Fear and power

It was getting close to dark now. Loretta who was on her way to Yushidas dorm room was about to enact her plan.

"Those weaklings barely offered me a real challenge...i suppose i should expect that from humans who have no power." She lightly chuckled as she approached the door. "Yushida Ichihara...she said that you have what we need...a soul that we can use...i will obtain it from you." Loretta pushed the door open seeing Yushida inside.

"Uhh...can i help you?" Yushida looked at Loretta.

Loretta smiled as she put her hand in her pocket. "Actually yes...you are Yushida ichihara correct?"

"Uhh...yes i am." Yushida replied slightly confused.

Lorettas smile turned to a sadistic grin before she lifted up her duel disk. "Care to duel?"

Yushida looked at her duel disk before he picked up his own. "Sure." He smirked.

Loretta began to laugh before she held out her other hand and held it up towards Yushida as a bright light emerged from it. "THEN LETS DUEL!"

Yushidas eyes widened. "What's going on!?"

The light filled the room as Loretta laughed and soon the light faded away with Loretta finding herself in a nearly pitch black area. "so this is the inside of your mind...it's very dark and drab." Loretta muttered seemingly disappointed before she looked down to find a path forming around her and going forward. "ooooo I wonder where this leads." Loretta followed the path.

The path seemed to go one forever into the pitch black void with no end in sight. however there was the sound of dark twisted laughter coming at Loretta from all directions.

"This just gets creepier by the moment." Loretta continued to walk, her smile turning into a frown.

"If you are disturbed why venture into my domain?" a dark voice sounding a lot like Yushida was heard just ahead of Loretta as a platform began to appear from the darkness with what seemed like Yushida stood upon it.

Loretta looked at what she thought was Yushida and then smirked before lifting up her right hand. "I'm here to take your soul and your powers!" Loretta then pushed her hand forward as a ray of light burst forth from it and towards Yushida.

"Pitiful" He looked up and smirked as the day of light then bent around him and away from him.

"What the??" Lorettas eyes widened as she looked at him. "What did you do??"

"I merely protected my lesser half from your feeble attempts to squire his soul." He simply laughed as he held up Yushidas duel disk. "You requested a duel...so before you can take what does not belong to you...You must earn it."

Loretta eyes narrowed as she then readied her own duel disk. "You're not Yushida...but no matter...I'll defeat you and take his soul."

"In I sense...i am him...but I am also not him." The man laughed as he drew his opening hand. "I guess you can say I'm his darkness."

"So a 'Dark Yushida' then?" Loretta looked at him with a small smirk. "Lets duel then!"

"I'll go first!" Loretta drew her card, holding 6 cards in hand. "First i'll play the spell card card destruction! this forces both of us to discard our entire hands and draw the same number of cards!" Loretta discarded her hand and then drew 5 new cards.
