Alice's pov

I was wandering around, finished with training when I passed by Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and ______. It seemed Ventus was up to something so I just flashed him a quick smile and continued to walk at a decent pace. Not long after the pound of footsteps were racing behind me as Ventus quickly came running. "Hey Alice, you looked a little lonely. Need a man to accompany you?" he asked, puffing out his chest. "A man? Where?" I teased, quite amused at his attempts to impress. He pouted and I heard ______ coming up behind us. Damn it Terra, we don't need a chaperone were the first words to come to mind, seeing that he always does this. Sure, Ven might be like a little brother to him. . But seriously! Ven seemed to notice as well, letting out a sigh. "______, could you go back and tell Terra I'm not a little kid, and then maybe train or something?" he grumbled, earning a laugh from ______. "Hey what's so funny?!" Ven shouted. Rolling my eyes, I continued to walk getting lost in dreams of Ven. Wait what?! I thought, No no no nonono. There's no way I have romantic feelings for Ven. . Right?! "Yeah Ven, and you say I'm the one in love," ______ said. That was news to me. "I-in love?" I began, "with who?" "With Aqua of course," Ven replied, but I missed his sly smile to ______, too heartbroken and blinded by tears. "If you'll excuse me, I have somewhere I need to be," I whispered softly while dashing off.

Ventus' pov

I was arguing with ______ when he said I was in love. I couldn't admit it was Alice, she'd think I'm weird and I'd be heartbroken so I said Aqua knowing it would get on ______'s nerves. "If you'll excuse me, I have somewhere I need to be," Alice had whispered softly with no hint of that playfulness from before. It was like a shot in the heart to hear that whisper, perhaps she already had a boyfriend. Terra would know. On that note I began running to where I last saw him, forcing back tears that wanted to push through.
