"How was it, how was it, how was it!?" Hailey squeals, bounding excitedly down the stairs; I knew I wouldn't be avoiding her interrogation as I stepped through the door.

Slipping my trainers off and throwing my water ridden coat onto the bannister, I muster up the courage to tell Hailey about my night Grayson.

"So come on, how was it?" She pants.

I inhale. "It was good," I say sheepishly, a smile creeping from my lips.

No matter what Grayson may be up to tonight, it doesn't take away from the fact that last night was perfect in every way—more so than I could have ever imagined.

"What kind of good Mia? What did you do? Tell me everything!"

I roll my eyes. "Everything? Really?"

"Yes, Mia. I want all the details!"

Of course she does.

We pad up the stairs and into my bedroom. I take a towel from the radiator and run it through my wet hair. Ruffling the towel against my roots, I suck in a breath and say, "Well. He took me on one of those restaurants on the boats, you know? The ones that cruise across the Thames."

"I know the ones!" Hailey chirps, her green eyes excited. "Was it good? I've always wanted to do that!"

"It was amazing," I say truthfully. "He booked out the whole boat for the two of us."

Hailey's jaw hits the floor. "You're kidding!"

I shake my head, my lip twisted. "Nope."

"Okay! So he's loaded. Got it. What happened after?"

My cheeks fill with red, and I choke on air. "Nothing," I croak, pulling leggings onto my legs. "Just chilled at Grayson's, you know?"

Hailey's hands fly to her cheeks, her eyebrows so high up her forehead they might fly off. "You did it! Didn't you?"

I close my eyes, not able to stop the smile from my lips. "Okay, yes, we did it!" I chime, laughter roaring from inside of me. "But I don't want you teasing, okay?"

"Yes Mia!" Hailey shrieks. "You're wild! Was he good?"

I swat Hailey's arm. "This conversation ends here!"

"Come on, Mia! Not even a little bit of detail?"

"All I will say is that it was amazing. Okay?" A snigger falls from my lips, and Hailey joins me as I place a clean pair of socks onto my feet.

Pulling my hair into a bun, my eyes fly to my phone on the bed, the vibration startling me. I reach for it, but Hailey beats me to it.

"It's your lover boy," she teases.
