(F/n) panted as she slumped, a crooked smile on her face as she attempted to beam up at the Frenchman, trying to ignore the sharp pain searing through her leg.
"So... breakfast," she offered with a stiff bite to her lip, " I was thinking about that place down the street, " she suggested, nudging her head to their earlier direction, the one they were headed to before they got ambushed.
"The one we saw on our way to the hotel," she clarified with a pained groan barley swallowed down by her stubborn will.
" (F/n)..." Polnareff started , his blue eyes grown wide as he stared on at her shaking body.
Any idiot could tell she was hurt...
She trembled as she tried to stand, stumbling before she pathetically fell onto the dirt road.
"Or ...Or we could just lay here for a sec," she suggested, coughing as she inhaled dry earth.
Sighing softly he shook his head, leaning down to her.
"Here, let me carry you," he insisted, already bending down to her.
Her face brightened with new color, as she tried to swat him away, forcefully laughing as she tried to distract him from her blushing face.
"Carry me?" she said with a squeaking tone, " I'm too heavy!! Please don't, you really don't have to !" she rambled, eventually blubbering out more excuses, all which were all just silly ramblings to distract him.
Ignoring them all, Polnareff came down to her, not intent on leaving her lying there a second longer.
His nose accidentally brushed over hers in the process and the new proximity made her breath hitch, her voice coming out small and weak, words dying out, "But...I'm fine," (f/n) said quietly, her arms going around his neck nonetheless.
Her face pointed down as she avoided catching sight of his beautiful blue eyes, as well as hiding the present warm color that invaded her features.
"I'm really fine," she added, "This is nothing," she argued, grimacing as her leg shot up with pain from shifting.
She tightened her hold, fully pressed into him, "Really..." she said in a tiny voice, "So , you don't have to treat me this way," she added, her face hidden in his strong chest, the words coming out in a pouty fashion, one that made him crack a small smile.
Although she stubbornly protested, there wasn't anywhere else she'd be than held by him, for just a few moments being defenseless, held within large protective arms she'd craved to have around her.
And he wouldn't pass up a moment to coddle her...
'So big...' she thought to herself, his large muscles making her feel small and protected as she happily cuddled close to him. 'It guess it wouldn't hurt,' she reasoned, melting onto him, taking advantage of the caring cradle.
" I guess it wouldn't hurt if I let you carry me...just this once," she told him.
