Hawk's Sidekick

Chapter 1

You both arrive at the restaurant then were seated in the back corner where no one can be heard. Hawks order you both some drinks to start with before you place your order. You gave me an unimpressed look with a smile before placing your order. Hawks just chuckled then placed his order right after. "What's wrong Kid...did I say something to offend you?" he asked a bit on edge because he doesn't want to ruin the date. "I'm just not impressed. Private table at an expensive restaurant, ordering drinks for me, and trying to act cool for no reason. What happen to Keigo? I want to dine with him" you explained using atone that makes him go crazy when you say his name like you're trying to seduce him. "What do you mean...His right here Baby Bird, and I'm starting to think you're just blind. I'm not trying to impress you just trying to show you, that I can take care of all your needs" he slams his hands on the table as he leans closer over the table towards you. "And I mean ALL of THEM" he whispered in a low seductive growl. Hawks fixed himself then sat back in his chair "It's just up to you to let me take care of you or not" he smirked as he took a sip of his drink waiting for your responds. "Ohh in that case" you grab your stuff before standing up to leave. "Call me when Keigo is back in town because Hawks needs a lesson on reading a girl" you turn your back to him then walked out the restaurant headed home. After a few miles Hawks caught up to you "Hey KID...WAIT" he flew in front of you to stop you from leaving. "Oh, hi Hawks" you replied not too happy to see him. "You're right....Ok PLEASE give me another chance" He pleased as he held your hand "I just didn't want to ruin the date so I thought if I flaunt my money and power you would..." Hawks hung his head not wanting you to see his face while he was vulnerable. You took a hand to raise his chin up to look him in his honeysuckle golden eyes. "I would what.... Keigo" You were glad his showing emotion like he did earlier today during your shift. "You would be with me Baby bird." You were shocked that this is what he wanted, but you couldn't understand as to why. " W-why me?  I don't get it.... why do you want me?"Hawks pulled you close to his chest still locking eyes with you. "Earlier today I couldn't help but pour my guts out to you kid. You have that fire about you that makes me want to have you in my life." He places a hand on your cheek caressing it with his thumb. He leans his face closer and closer until both your lips finally meet. You couldn't help wrapping your arms around his neck, and he couldn't help wrapping his arms around your waist." Will you come to my place Kid I promise to give you the date you deserve, not the one you didn't ask for." Hawks whispered in your ears a she starts to flap his wings. You nodded slightly blushing as you hold onto him tight for dear life. He picked you up princess style then ascended into the the glowing night sky. You looked down at the colorful city lights, then up at the sparkly night sky. Hawks admire your child like wonder as you both soar through the night sky. Funny enough you felt safe in the sky even though at a moment notices you could fall out of the sky like it was nothing, however in Hawks arms it felt more different then the times you use swift wind to fly in the clouds. You were more calm, relax, or maybe loving the idea soaring in the arms of...."Wait why am I thinking like this" you thought to yourself" There's no way this is really...you know what this must be a dream"You could help think this was your mind playing a trick on you " Hey hawks....Keigo....Please stop for a sec" He stopped in mid-flight a bit concern "What's wrong kid" he asked "Drop me...please"You replied softly "What was that" He gave you an confused look"Please drop me right now" You said louder. Hawks shocked his head in disbelief of what he just heard, but before he could say anything else."Trust me I'll be fine.... if not, ill scream you name.... ok?!" you gave him that warm smile that melts his heart. He knew there was no way to convince you, so he nodded after giving you a kiss. "You better Baby Bird. I can't lose you" He said just before letting you go. As you were falling through the sky you felt the rush of wind hit you face, so you closed your eyes for a few seconds to test your theory of waking up in your bed.You saw the ground grow bigger and bigger, so you looked up at hawks who was growing smaller and smaller. That's when you realize this was real, but the problem now is you don't have enough height to use swift wind to cushion your fall, so you won't be badly hurt. You already were too far to yell out for hawks for help. "Wow this was dumb of me...But at least I went out on my term.... I guess" you said to yourself as you look down to see the ground getting closer and closer
