After pressing my lips on top of Dax's there was no movement. I'm guessing he was too shocked to move.

As I was about to pull away he grabbed my waist and moved his lips slowly.

I was kissing MY roommate.

And god what a good kisser he was. We probably would have kept kissing if it was not for suddenly cough. I pulled away. I was beyond flustered.

"Dax please lets go." I pulled at his arm and he nodded.

We walked towards his car and not one of us had uttered a word. I made my way inside his car.

"What the fuck was that?" Dax said as he pulled my eyes to meet his eyes.

"I'm sorry."

"B, I am not mad that you kissed me. I am mad at myself for not being able to control my anger. I saw red when that asshole was bothering you. I don't know what overcame me."

"I appreciate you standing up for me, but you don't need to do that. I am a big girl. I can take care of myself."

"Not from what I saw." He scoffed and turned on the car, but we didn't move.

"That is so uncalled for. I have been fending off for myself for years. I didn't need you to come in bolting acting like my own personal knight in shining armor."

"Oh fuck, I'm sorry for making sure that asshole did not harass you."

"I don't understand why all of a sudden you're mad at me. That's bullshit and you know that." I scoffed and opened the car door.

"Where the fuck are you going?" He yelled.

"What does it look like dip shit? I'm walking home. Redirect your anger someplace else, but not with me." I said as I slammed his car door.

"Get in the fucking car." He yelled causing people to look at us. I flipped him the bird, and began my walk home.

I don't get why he's so mad. Like a man was harassing me. How is that my fault?

Maybe he's mad you kissed him.

It wasn't that serious. It was just a kiss to calm him down before he beat into pulp that other asshole.

Fuck.

Did I just kiss my roommate? Oh god please just take me. I am ready.

As I was making my way home there was a group of guys standing out in the middle of the street. Sometimes I wonder how are people to stupid? Especially how did my school accept all these imbeciles.

"Hey girl where are you going?" One of them started walking over to me.

"Damn she has a fat ass." Another one said.

I really could not catch a break.

"Leave her the fuck alone or I'm breaking all of your jaws." A voice from behind me said.

I looked around to see a very angry Ace. Who would have thought this asshole would be my knight in shining armor?

"Thanks." I muttered.

"I still don't like you, but I have sisters and I wouldn't want any assholes catcalling them. Go home now!" I nodded and began walking home.

I fast walked home, and left Ace behind.

As I made my way inside my house. I saw Dax waiting in the living room couch. As soon as he saw me he got up.

"Dax,  I really am not in the mood to fight. Getting harassed twice in less than an hour is exhausting. I'm going to shower."

I didn't let Dax say a word before making my way upstairs to shower. I decided to take a long, well deserved shower, after the god awful day I had.

After getting out from my shower, and changing into some comfy pajama shorts and long shirt I made my way downstairs to make some dinner even though it was really late.

Do I feel like cooking? Absolutely not.

So a nice bowl of cereal will do. I thought to myself as I made my way to the kitchen.

As I was getting the milk from the fridge I felt someone behind me. Standing a few feet away from me was Ace.

Who might I add looked pretty beaten up. Holy shit did he get beat up by the guys who were catcalling me?

"Holy crap, are you okay?"

"Do I look okay?" He hissed in pain as grabbed his stomach.

"Sorry, okay please sit in the couch let me grab stuff to get you cleaned up."

"I don't need your pity."

"Will you stop being difficult and let me help you? Please go sit there." After what seemed like an eternity he made his way to the couch while I ran upstairs to the bathroom to grab the first aid kit I had.

I rushed downstairs and tripped on my feet and landed right on my face. Great.

I heard a chuckle coming from the couch. It was Ace and for the first time I had seen a smile on his face.

"Glad my misery is funny to you." I mumbled as I got myself up and towards the couch.

"Take off your shirt." I ordered and he smirked.

"If you wanted to see my naked all you had to do was ask."

"Ace I will literally finish killing you off." I said and he chuckled. He slowly pulled up his shirt and I gasped at the sight.

He had cuts on his stomach.

"Holy crap what did they do to you?" I asked as I put alcohol on the gauze.

"I was beating them up fair and square and they decided to pull out a knife on me. No biggie."

"No biggie? Oh god Ace I'm truly sorry." I said as I gently pressed on his cuts. He hissed in pain, but immediately hid the pain he was feeling.

"It's not your fault, they were being fucking creeps."

"I could have just ignored them and continued my walk home."

"It's cute of you to think they would have left you alone."

Cute?

"I still can't believe someone would actually do this."

"This college town is filled with predators and assholes it was bound to happen. I'm just glad you made it home in one piece."

"Thank you for doing that. And if a girl is ever harassing you like ever you let me know and I'll take care of her." I jokingly said trying to lighten up the mood.

"I will definitely keep that in mind." He chuckled.

Wow he was actually nice when he was not too busy hating me.

"I think you're all set. Please be careful I'm no nurse or anything but probably go light on physical activity."

"Thanks for fixing me up."

"It's the least I can do since you ended up like that because of me."

"True."

"Again, I'm so sorry."

"If you apologize to me one more time I will start hating you again." He said and I smiled at him.

"So you don't hate me anymore?" I asked as he got out of the couch and made his way upstairs.

"Nope, but I still strongly dislike you." He grinned and made his way upstairs.
