Chp 1 Draco Malfoy Fan Fic
Nadia's POV.
I stirred in my bed all night; I was too exited to sleep. Tomorrow was my first day in Howarts and I just couldn't wait. My trunk was done, my wand was packed and it was 7:00 am I would leave at 9:00 am to get to the station at 11:00 am.
At 8 o'clock my mom came to my room and smiled at the sight of me already up and ready to go.
"Honey, how long have you been up?" she said slightly concerned yet amused. "Umm honestly... I didn't sleep at all" I confessed. She chuckled and warned me that breakfast was going to get cold unless I came down soon I nodded and took one last glance at my reflection in the mirror at the corner of my room, I was skinny yet with a bit of muscle, black hair that fell to my shoulders and big, inviting, honey colored eyes.
I grabbed my trunk and let loose my owl Ports. Gave one last farewell to my brown-haired kitty Mist and said goodbye to my room, the walls were a dark purple tone and my bed covers were black.
Coming down the wooden stairs I could hear my mom humming to an unknown muggle song from the kitchen. I skipped towards her and kissed her on the cheek.
I was very uneasy about the house I would be put in, not because I minded if I got to be in Slithering or Gryffindor or anything but because the not knowing was driving me insane, I was a pureblood yet my father left when I was born. My mother was fascinated with muggles and their history and she worked at the ministry of magic.
I was about to start my third year at Howarts and... My thoughts were interrupted by my mother waving her hand in front of my face.
"Jane, honey, eat your breakfast" she said hurriedly. "Oh, yes mum sorry" I smiled apologetically and started to stuff my mouth with the pancakes she had made. For a skinny girl, or any type of girl I ate quite a lot. My mom looked at me disapprovingly and I just beamed a smile at her before charming my trunk to follow me and running to the car.
She laughed and followed me out locking the door behind her.
On my way to the train station I thought about all that had happened last summer, my boyfriend well, ex-boyfriend, Josh had left me for another girl. Yes, it was sad, but I had learned something from that experience after all you: can't let your feelings out and your guard down EVER, unless it is with your mother. I came out of my train of thought and noticed a tear making its way down to my chin. Mom seemed to notice as since she gave me a sad smile and I just sniffed.
My mother knew about Josh and tried to help me as much as she could. Josh's mom was a witch and his dad a muggle so he wasn't pure blood, not that I cared anyways. I and Josh had been homeschooled and that's how we met. After he left me he wanted us to be friends, I just couldn't, and needless to say I still had feelings for him even though we never talked after that day: We had gone for lunch to an Italian restaurant, in the middle of dinner he took my hand and looked down, I should've know he was going to break my heart but I was just to curious to think at that time
FLASHBACK
"What is going on?" I asked suspicious. "Nadia, I'm so sorry but I think we should start to consider seeing other people" he said as if it was nothing. I couldn't say anything, I was too shocked and when I tried to talk nothing came out. Since I didn't answer he continued "It's just that... I met someone else" with that I exploded "what do you mean you met someone else? Where, when, how?" he looked around and said "I'm sorry" and then he left. I ran home and told my mother, the next day my owl came and I saw it as an opportunity to start from scratch.
