Hi so today I woke at 6am because today I will be flying to Belgium. We have to wear a mask all day 😭. So we are getting an air lingus flight first from belfast city airport to London Heathrow and then a flight with British airways to Amsterdam after we took a 3hr taxi to my grandparents in Belgium. In Belfast city airport there were 2 flights the entire day so our flight and then also the flight 5hrs later also to London Heathrow. Also there was nothing open in the airport and you know what was weird to think is that everyone in the airport was going to be on my flight 😂. In London there was a lot more people but definitely not like normal and there were lots of shops open there but not all. When we got to Amsterdam an hour and a half later there were a lot more people there and also people not wearing masks. We picked up our luggage and then took our 3 hour taxi to Ghent, Belgium. And before you ask "do you speak Belgium" well then "do u speak Belfast" (i didn't think so) no I don't I speak Flemish but Flemish isn't actually a language but I would love to tell you that I speak Dutch but I don't so yeah. I speak Dutch without the accent. I was sooooo happy to finally be able to see my family but I'll be seeing my mum in 14 days.
