Reecka Vosterku, was a ordinary hylian like no other. She was kind of course and loved her only best friend Sokra Zheitk, she enjoyed her company and exploring hyrule, even going to hyrule fields time to time, it was what Reecka loved to do as well as practice swordsmanship but was too shy to do it with other people so she just practiced on the moblins sometimes, that roamed in the field, thinking it will take a little less weight off of princess Zelda and the hero, to at least do some good so people who walk by don't get hurt. So one faithful day Reecka decided to take a walk, she wanted to relax from a small fight she had with her friend. She didn't want to talk to her at all for the day so she was just going to stay isolated from people for now, this time she left her weapon at home but she didn't want to dwell on the stress of fighting moblins at the moment because she had no intention of going to hyrule fields but..she did. She had ran off, so what else was she supposed to do? With that she didn't care anymore what would happen, Reecka would just go anywhere her feet would take her as long as she had have a clear mind. However,  she did still have to keep her boundaries and not get spotted by any moblins because even though it was the afternoon Reecka didn't want to end up with an injury or dying. Nevertheless she had tried to keep as far away as possible, though thanks to her luck a moblin saw her, her way and shot a unexpected flaming arrow.

Thankfully Reecka had dodged it in time before it could have pierced her head, and had made a run for it until she was in the Lost Woods and completely out of sight, not that it would be any better at all at this point since the place was crawling with moblin's and skulltula's, but there was no other way out it was either this or getting an arrow to the heart. Consequently she walked in one path, she had never been to the Lost Woods before or any were near it because she was sure to keep her distance from danger in places like these, because you didn't know what could pop up at the time. So she kept walking until she saw a injured cucoo laying on the floor suffering, and breathing slowly. Due to Reecka's good will she picked up the cucoo gently onto her arms and decided to look for a better/safer place to aid the bird. Without a doubt she was able to find a 'suitable enough' place to lay the bird down, making sure that she was extra careful since it was bleeding on it's thigh. Reecka had then looked around for any herbs that could be helpful to calm the aching that it might feel from the pain, there were very few herbs there but there were more than enough for her to work with. '..It's a good thing a I picked up a few things about health from Sokra...' Reecka thought as she was tending to the cucoo's wound. She had then ripped a piece of her clothing off to wrap the wound around it's thigh and smiled to the bird.

"There now you will feel better in no time." She had whispered softly to the bird petting it on the head.

"Now..." she picked it up again, even though it's breathing was stable again Reecka didn't feel comfortable just leaving it here because what was the point if it might get injured again? Or worse.. so she had taken it with her and began walking again. Even if she had no idea where she was going at the time she will eventually find somewhere.

It had nearly been night, Reecka had been walking for hours looking for a way out, but to each corner she turned she had to make a hasty retreat to find a safer ground, not only for her sake but for the cucoo she was carrying as well. At this rate she would never be able to get out of here before night. That's when thing's have gotten worse in the situation and to their current progress that most definitely wasn't an option, though it was impossible since she had been even farther from home than she had been in the beginning. Furthermore, she was pretty sure the cucoo would be hungry by now because healing from an injury takes alot of process but you would also need energy.  That's when she had looked for a place to rest for now. It wasn't safe to set a fire now since it would attract enemies to their location but that didn't stop Reecka from seeing. Even though it was Night by now she could still see with the small rays of moon light reflecting down on the ground from the trees that were blocking it.
