Haikyuu soulmate AU

So, in this AU, everyone has a soulmate, however, some people have none and some have more than one. The chances of having no soulmate are 1 in a billion. And with about 8 billion people on Earth, only eight have no soulmate. The chances of having more than one soulmate has generally increased as the years go by and no one knows why. Before, there was only 1%, but now is about 23% which means around 1.8 billion have more than one. These are called polysoulmates. Before, people who were polysoulmates were looked down upon but now, since they're more frequent, people have come to accept them. However, there are still a small amount of people who are disgusted by them.

People are born colour blind. The only way to get their colour, is to meet their soulmate(s). People who don't have a soulmate are born with colour as normal, it's just everything will seem duller than what they truly are. Which means, even though they don't see in black and white, their world are dark too. However, if they meet someone and they truly love each other, everything will become bright as normal. 

Once people meet their soulmate(s), not only will they get their colours, a mark will appear somewhere on their body (usually on their arms or wrists) which will match to the one on their soulmate(s)'. To people who have polysoulmates, they can choose to become a couple with all three of them or choose to be with only one of them or none of the polysoulmates get together at all. Not all soulmates will have a romantic relationship. Some will have a platonic friendship, but nonetheless, they will always share a special bond.

If people never meet their soulmate, they will continue to go about their life whilst still colour blind. Once they pass away without every meeting their soulmate(s), if their soulmate(s) is still alive, a cross will appear on their wrist telling them of the other's passing. They, too, will never see colour.
