Frost creeped up the windows. It was a sweet night. The most beautiful, as two souls breathlessly pulled themselves apart, warming in embrace.
It was the first snow of the year.

"Saranghae! I will always love you, however far we are."

Two fateful months had passed since the accident. Jin had recovered from his injury, and got his crutches removed.
Taehyung had returned home, completing his degree in photography.
Rin, still recovering from the panic attacks, had moved to an apartment, nearby her university, with her friends, who chose not to leave her alone.
Ha Ra was a frequent visitor, at the girls' house, with her beary hugs and sweet gifts. She couldn't be separated from her cousin or boyfriend.
Seung Ho was doing fine, alone, occasionally visiting Rin.
Jimin and Hoseok, faring well in their dance academy, Yoongi and Namjoon with their musical madness, busy with their institute of music, and Jungkook, an all rounder, thriving as an athlete.
Life seemed to go back to normal, for everyone, after the hustles and jolts of emotions.
Taehyung called his cousin, as usual, for their day out. It was moreover, a brother-sister date. He made sure to check out his cousin, in person, every week.
Rin dressed up in her summer torso. It was a pretty pale yellow dress, with puffed sleeves. She matched it with a pair of simple brown boots and crystal earrings. Her long fingers held a single ring. Her slender hands were adorned with a charm bracelet, her cousin had gifted her. Her waterfall braids, enhancing the hair highlights, as it waved down her waist. What brought beauty to her was, her smile. After long days and nights, it was coming back.
"Taetae! I am waiting here at the stop. Come pick me up. The girls took the car." Rin asked through the phone.
"I can never believe you!" Rin frowned, as she got into the car.
"I am sorry! Mom didn't leave me, until she packed you all those goods." Taehyung grinned sheepishly.
Rin's eyes lit up, the frown turning to a wide smile, as her head turned to the backseat, eyes picking up all the goodies her Gomo had packed for her.
Hearing no reply, he turned to look at his cousin, whose hungry eyes devoured the box of ttaebbokki in her hands.
He rolled his eyes replying, "Your love for spice will never end. Even if it's a dish as simple as those spicy rice cakes."
"It's not my fault that you are not spice tolerant." Rin stuck her tongue out, just like a kid.
"Aish! This girl!" Taehyung laughed.
He stopped in front of their usual hangout café.
"It seems as if we won't be able to park in the city." Rin commented, looking out of the window.
"Hmm! There's a spot across the street. We can park there and cross over." Taehyung replied.
He turned the steering, directing the car to the parking spot. Rin got out with him, walking towards the crossing point.
The pedestrian lights turned green.
Jin was rushing to meet his mom at the flower shop. His strides where fast as he crossed the road.

He was so engrossed in reaching the shop, nothing bothered him. A ripple of laughter bought him to his senses. It was sweet and melodious. It seemed familiar.
He turned to look back at the crossing figures, that passed him, in the opposite direction.
It was a silhouette of a girl and boy. Both probably his age.
They were animatedly chatting. The boy seemed to look like Taehyung. But the girl, she was familiar yet unfamiliar.
Her wavy hair glistened in the sunlight. Her long fingers curled around the boy's elbow. She was a beautiful silhouette to watch. The sense of familiarity, drew his attention to her.
"Young man! Come fast! The signal is about to close."
The old woman's voice, across the lane, bought him back to himself.
He thanked her profusely, returning on his way.
Who was she? Was that Taehyung? If so, who was that girl? Is he dating? No! They did not look like a couple. Why am I having this thoughts? She feels so familiar. Is she someone I know? But I am alright. I will never forget someone like her. But...
Jin felt his head ache. The unexplainable feeling confused him.
"Taetae! Get me this coffee every time, you want me to help you. I will marry a man who buys me this coffee. It's so good" Rin smiled, as her eyes glowed. Her fingers hugged the warm cup of coffee.
"I can ask that Ahjumeoni, if her son would be willing enough to marry you." Taehyung replied, teasing his cousin.
