Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you,

I lay by your side knowing that I will never be blue.

Even if we fight you know that I am right here,

You do not have to worry and be carried away by fear.

When things go gray I'll find a way to paint our colors,

Make everything bright and let the darkness grow smaller.

I will let the sky show its beautiful stars up above the dreamy night,

Just promise me that you will hold me closer and will not leave my sight.

If I die early and somebody asks how much you mean to me,

Speak over my tombstone and watch how you bring me back to life.

This unconditional unique love only comes from thee,

And it can overcome everything including our own strife.

Let it remind you that even without brightness you will be alright.

That even in times of your darkness I will stand as your light.
