A captured heart PAUSED (Bakugou x mermaid reader)

Chapter 5

Bakugou pov:
   "Alright listen up. We got a problem involving the incident at the lake a few days ago."
    "Oh," Pink cheeks said. "You mean the one where you nearly drown-"
   "Yes that fucking one," I cut her off. "Now shut up and let me fucking finish. There was this stupid girl in the lake that got me above water when I hit my head. Shitty-hair here almost got her into a boat and saw that she was a fucking mermaid."
    A burst of astonished exclamations came from the couch, and Deku started muttering.
    "Shut the hell up all of you!" I shouted.
    "Bakubro, you have to admit it sounds really outlandish." Kirishima said trying to calm me down.
    "I know it fucking does!" I shouted. "If they would let me finish it would make sense!"
    "Go on Bakugou," Kermit ribbited.
    "Fine. Shitty-hair told Racoon eyes and she posted something online. That led to the LOV capturing (y/n)."
    "So she is now in the aquarium. And you are 100% sure this is the same person," Icy-hot asked.
    "Yes!" Kirishima said. "And she showed us her tail and it looks like they hurt her pretty badly. And she definitely asked us for help."
    "So I expect you extras to get her out," I finished.
   Deku nodded slowly. "We could definitely help... But where would she stay? You said (y/n) was injured right? So she can't go back to the lake yet. And she might get recaptured if she does," he decended back into muttering. My eye twitched.
    Slowly, and with much shouting, we worked out a plan that could work. Kermit would provide the transportation, her car was better for it than mine. Icy-hot and Deku would run interference with the guards, Pink cheeks and Sonic would get her out of the tank and to the car. And I would be driving her out of that hell hole with Shitty-hair.
    "Ok, last thing to work out." Icy-hot said, running a hand over his eyes. "Where is (y/n) going to stay?"
    I sighed. "She can fucking stay here."
    Deku coughed. "Y-you sure Kacchan?"
    "Of course I'm fucking sure! Why else would I say that?" I yelled.
    "That's so manly bro!" Shitty-hair said.
    "Yeah, yeah, whatever." I grumbled. "Tonight at 11:30, operation Water-girl is on."

(Y/n) pov:
     I couldn't sleep. I was exhausted and hurt, but I just couldn't find a way. Also, the hard matress on the floor was a poor substitute for the hammock I was used to. So instead I floated in circles looking dazedly out of the glass. No one took any notice of me, except for a girl with blond hair pulled up into twin messy buns. She seemed to be very interested in the blood that was still seeping, if very slowly, from the new wounds.
     Eventually she left, Dabi pulling her away from the glass. I could see her complaining to him all the way. I settled down to watch the doors, imagining the world outside and how much easier it would be if I had just never saved that human. Stupid Pufferfish and Shark. 
     I was interrupted by a small flash of light through the doors. I slowly floated more upright as a pair of dark figures appeared. They worked their way through the doors, and headed directly for my cage. One of them branched off and headed for the stairs while the talker one pulled a sign from their jacket.
     "We are with Bakugou. Please help us in any way possible."
     I nodded and they tucked away the sign and headed for the stairs to join their companion.
