Nobody Compares *Court*
I watched my sister leave the room as I tried to stop any more tears from falling. I looked at my boyfriend, at the rest of the boys, and then anger flared up in my heart.
"No." I stated, shaking my head at the ground. I lifted my gaze to look in to my fathers eyes. "No!" I shouted. "You don't get to do this! You don't get to tear me and her apart! You don't get to take away the only family who's always been there for me! I refuse to let YOU decide what happens!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. My father looked at me with surprise evident on his face. "You want one of us gone?! Sorry! Doesn't work like that! We're a package deal!" I grabbed my drink from the table and threw the cup at his feet full force. It was plastic and it landed right in front of his feet. He looked shocked.
"Courtney.." He started but I cut him off.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have a father anymore. Thanks for your time Simon" I replied as calmly as I could. I then turned to my boyfriend. "I love you. I love you so much. More than nearly anyone in the world but..." It was my turn to get cut off.
"Your sister is the one person who's always been there and you can't live without her. I get it. I love you Courtney. More than you'll ever know." Harry pulled me close to him and kissed me quickly.
"Come help me pack?" I inquired, looking at all off the boys except Niall. I knew where he was going after we all left this room. There was a chorus of agreements so I turned to walk out the door.
"Boys.." Simon Cowell said quietly.
"Not cool Uncle Si." Louis tsk'd.
"C'mon Love." Harry whispered close to my ear, pushing me lightly out the door. I didn't argue. I wanted to get as far away from Simon as possible.
Harry's POV
"I'm going to miss you...." I sighed, holding Courtney close to me. I didn't even want to look at the airport behind her. I didn't want her to leave. But it was her decision and I had to respect it. Why did my mother raise me to be a gentleman?!
"Don't act like this..." She whispered, hugging me tightly. "Don't act like it's the last time you'll see me. Please. We're not breaking up. I'm just going to a different continent." She shrugged. I let out a strangled laugh.
"Isn't that the same basic thing?" I responded. I saw tears well up in her eyes and mentally slapped myself. No! Not the same thing! "Shhhh. It's okay love. I know we're not breaking up. It's completely different." I stated, brushing away a few stray tears with my thumbs. She put her arms around my neck, leaning her head on my chest as I held her.
"Promise me we'll talk, like, all the time?" She inquired, pulling away and standing on her own. I nodded.
"Of course. Whenever we can." I said with a sad smile. She nodded to herself. Then she stretched up on to her tiptoes and gave me a very short but very passionate kiss.
"I love you." She stated surely. I smiled, albite a bit less brightly than normal.
"I love you more." I replied. She gave me a fleeting and strained smile before turning around and heading in to the airport. Ava was by her side in a second and they walked in together. I glanced at Niall. His eyes held the same sadness as mine. About two hours later we were running through the middle of rehearsal but decided that everyone needed to go out to lunch.
"I miss her..." Niall mumbled, tossing his food to the side. Liam patted his shoulder and gave him a very confused look. For Niall to push away food he had to be heartbroken.
