♡ prologue

She unclasped his hand from hers while she hung her head low.

That sudden gesture took Yedam aback.

"J-jagi... is something wrong?" He asked Yenna in a loving manner.

"I-i..." she stuttered, not knowing how to say it properly. "I think we should..."

Yedam stared at her with his heart thumping loudly of nervousness. "What?"

"Maybe we should..." Yenna looked away, not wanting to see the look on her lover's face.

Yedam's mind started racing with so many questions clouding his thoughts. "Tell me."

Yenna closed her eyes and took the courage to say what she never wanted to say.

"We need to break up."

Yedam's eyes got teary and he felt like his world was starting to collapse.

Maybe it was the reason why she was starting to be cold to him the other days. She wanted to break up with him.

"Why?" He whispered, biting his lower lip.

She's still not looking at him. She's afraid that if she sees how broken he looks, she'll take those words back.

"You can't know..." she whispered, her eyes getting teary too.

Yedam held her shoulders. "Please tell me, I need to know why! So whatever that reason can be we can fix---"

Yenna squirmed away from Yedam's hold and turned her back from her. "You won't understand... and it can never be fixed."

She started running away because the tears started flowing out of her eyes and she couldn'r control then anymore.

"Yenna!" She heard the voice of Yedam call her name.

But it might be the last time she'd ever hear him call her name.

She didn't really wanted to be away from him. But with the fame his band is getting and the fans he is gaining the more the media will watch over them.

If they find out that Bang Yedam of Treasure has a girlfriend, their lives will both be in danger.

They aren't supposed to be together.

And for Yedam to have a peaceful life, she let him go knowing that it's best for him even if it hurts.

The poor boy was left alone on the side of the street, kneeling with tears running down his face. He held his chest in pain and can only wonder why his lover left him with no reason.
