"America has been busy lately...but there's a world conference...I've liked him for a while now...maybe after I can tell him my feelings..."
"Who are you?"
"I'm Canada."
Canada smiled at his answer. Why? He never really ever smiled when kuma asked that. I guess it's because he's finally going to tell America about how he really feels.
"Alfred, I need to talk to you!"
Canada jumped and turned around finding England talking to him.
"U-um I'm not-"
"Alfred, you need to speak up. Anyways we need to talk about The Axis."
"But I'm not Alfred...I'm Matthew...Canada"
England toke a closer look and then chuckled softly.
"My mistake. I get you two confused a lot. Anyways, I need to be going."
He walked off. Canada held kuma closer. That's the only thing he hated. But he kept his smile and walked away to the hallway...alone.
"Kuma what should I do? America's my brother...but I really like him...I want to tell him my feelings..."
Canada felt confused. Why wouldn't he be? He could've asked his feather France but...there's a reason why he hasn't.
"Bonjour my son!~"
Canada turned around to find France standing behind him, looking amazing as always. With his...wavy blond hair...wait...
"Uh...France...your hair..."
"Oui? What about it?"
"The roots...their turning brown..."
France's eyes widen as he felt the top of his head worried. Canada rolled his eyes and walked off.
"Romano! I need your hate!"
Canada chuckled at France yelling for something to cover his head.Seeing everyone there at the conference was fun. But no one saw him sadly. For some odd reason, people either see him as America or not at all. He's invisible. It doesn't bother him much but it's sad. He spotted Italy and waved. Of course, Italy didn't wave back. Canada sighed and sat down. Russian then walked in and say on Canada's lap. He was not stuck.
"Help...me"
Kuma sat on the floor looking up at him. Russia's name was called so he got up and walked to where he was called. He screamed and ran out of the room with his sister Belarus following. Canada watched. No one really knows why Belarus does that. He shrugged it off.
"Everyone please sit. The conference is about to start."
Germany said as he stood at the end of the table. He talked about how they needed to stop having so much wars and what not. During this Canada started dozing off. Germany is so loud. That was until the door flew open.
"SORRY IM LATE DUDES!"
Everything became quite. America was at the doors. Still in his pajamas.
"I woke up late..."
America was panting as he started walking up to a seat. Canada chuckled as he watched.
"Maybe is you stopped eating burgers and soda late at night this wouldn't happen!"
"Shut up England. Not my fault it's better then your cooking."
England stuck his tongue out at America.
"Keep eating like that and you'll end up fat."
"NO I WON'T! YOU LAIR!!"
Canada smiled as he watched the two fight.
"So dudes! Where were we?"
America asked. England sighed loudly.
"You idiot..."
America huffed. He pulled out a bag. What's in it? Take a guess. Burgers and a soda. Canada laughed softly. America was quite most of the time. That's new. Is he sick? Who knows, but it's scary.
America stood up right after the meeting and went up to Canada tapping his shoulder.
"Can we talk?"
Canada looked up and nodded as he got up. They both went into a quite hallway. Canada's heart was racing.
"Canada I need to ask you something."
America toke a deep breath and spoke quickly.
"AM I GETTING FAT?"
Canada had no words. All he did was stare blankly.
"Well?"
"N-No?"
"Yeah right! Then why would England say that!?"
"Why would you care what England thinks?"
America hesitated.
"Be-Because..."
He sighed.
"Don't tell anyone but...England and I are going out..."
Canada could feel his heart sink and break slowly. He again had no words. He just wanted to cry. Which he started to do.
"D-Dude? You ok? Are you crying?"
"No...no I'm fine. Just...surprised..."
"Why? You don't like me so what the big deal?"
"I do..."
"You what? Dude that's weird! We're like bros! It's weird to date your bro!"
"Isn't it weird to date your father?" "Dude, that's different. He was barely even around to really take care of me so is doesn't count. I just can't believe you like me..."
"It's just...I-I really do like you-"
"Nope"
America walked away. Canada left alone choking on his own tears. Why did America act like that? He let out a sigh to help calm him down but that just made him keep crying.
"Hm? Canada?"
Canada looked up, finding China.
"Are you ok, aru?"
Canada sniffled.
"Yeah...I guess..."
"You don't look like it. Come over to my place and we can talk."
He held his hand out for Canada. Canada got up and toke China's hand like a child."So...what's wrong?"
Once they got to China's house they sat down and had some tea.
"Well uh...I like America...but her...doesn't like me because we are liked brothers..."
"I don't think that a good reason. You two barely hung out when you guys were little. I'm sorry...I wish I could help."
Both Canada and China sigh.
"No it's ok...don't worry about me."
"Oh but I will! You are one the nicest country that doesn't boss me around!"
Canada managed a small smile across his face.He sipped his tea. Maple. Making him smile brighter.
