"Anything from the trolley dears?", eagerly asked the trolley lady.

"I'll take a chocolate frog thank you.", replied a girl with tick frizzy hair.

"That'll be 3 sickles dearie.", said the old woman. Her crows feet were emphasised as she pulled a smile.

She handed her 3 small silver coins and sat back down in the booth.

The girl looked at the other girl sitting in front of her. The girl's nose was buried in quite a large book. She was wearing a large grey hoodie with writing on it too small for anyone to read. Some form of poetry. With black jeans with far too many holes in them.

"Evie, you need to get in your robes before we get there you know.", insisted the girl

"I know.", she lowered the book. "What did you get?"

"What?"

"The card, in the chocolate frog."

"Oh-uh Nicholas Flammel," she said with a deep tone of disappointment.

"Arwyn don't you have like 15 of those?"

"Yes.", the girl said with a deep sigh. A forlorn expression came across her face.

"Don't let a stupid card get you down. It's the chocolate you want! Anyway i still have some beans left.", said Evie as she offered Arwyn a small white box with golden lining. Arwyn put her hand deep in the box and pulled out a small jelly bean, which was coloured yellow and green.

"I'd be careful. I think i have an idea what it is."

Arwyn placed the small bean on her tongue and began to chew. A sick look came on her face and her skin turned pale. She spat out the bean on the floor.

"Ewww, that's gross. Bloody hell Arwyn what was it?"

Arwyn wiped her mouth with her sleeve.

"Unpleasant i can tell you that. Bogey i believe."

Evie chuckled back in her seat. Arwyn gave Evie a smug expression.

"Now, it's YOUR turn."

The laughing stopped. Evie gulped.

A girl with frizzy brown hair, freckles burst into the booth.

"Hello, have you seen a toad? A boy named Neville has lost his toad Trevor."

"I'm sorry but we haven't seen a toad anywhere.", answered Arwyn

The girl looked at the box of beans.

"Mind if i have one?", asked the girl.

"Not at all.", replied Evie. The girl put her hand in the box and pulled out a blue bean. She placed it in her mouth. A look of confusion came upon her face. Indicating that she was trying to figure out what the flavour was of these mysterious beans.

"Blueberry.", said the girl. Then she stormed out of the booth.

Arwyn looked at Evie.

"She seems nice!"

"Yeah, i feel bad for that boy.", said Evie

"I hope he finds his toad."

"Oh no, i meant having a TOAD! It really is quite slimey and i've read that some toads are actually poisonous in some parts of the world."

"Really?", questioned Arwyn

Evie nodded.

Arwyn pulled a small piece of parchment from her pocket and a small ballpoint pen. She was writing it down as usual. She could never go one day without writing something down. She was always prepared for anything. She was quite resourceful, she was a good friend. She and Evie had been friends for as long as they can remember.

"I bet you're going to be in Ravenclaw. All the brainiacs are in that house.", teased Evie.

"I bet you're in Gryffindor, with all the self-centered, proud idiots go."

"Gryffindor isn't that bad. I think i'm going to be either Slytherin or Gryffindor."

"We're going to know when we get to school, which is very soon. Which is why you should get in your robes!"

Evie rolled her eyes. Grabbed her trunk and went to the bathroom to get changed. She passed a blonde boy who was very pale and thin. Malfoy, she thought. He was one of the pure bloods. She should know her mother works at the ministry and is always complaining about how the Malfoys are mysterious and how they loathe people of muggle-blood. He looked her age. He must be in her year. Evie took a deep breath. He was going to be one of the people that Arwyn had told her to stay clear of.

She put on her robes and walked back to the booth that Arwyn was sitting in.

As she walked in Arwyn had a look of suprise on her face.

"Have you heard?", she asked.

"I've heard a lot today, what one specifically?"

"According to some people in the other booths. Harry POTTER is on our train and even better, in our YEAR."

A looked at Arwyn with a confused expression.

"I'm sorry who?"

"Don't tell me you don't know the boy who lived?"

"Well i assume he's alive."

"Ugh-he was the one who defeated-", she paused. "You-know-who."

Now that Evie did know. That she knew plenty.

The train came to a stop with made Evie fall to the ground.

"We're here!", Arwyn exclaimed.
